We had the good fortune of connecting with Tia Rouse and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Tia, is your business focused on helping the community? If so, how?
My business helps the community by promoting health, healing, and wellness. Not just physically, but wholly. Mind, body, and spirit.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
I got where I am today by faith and trusting God. My business was birthed by my own personal experiences and areas I have struggled, but have found guidance and resolve. Was it easy, absolutely not. Using your own life experiences to help others in theirs can be triggering, but I understand that nothing we go through is about ME, it’s to help someone else find their way on this journey. I want the world to know that if I can make it out, and not smell like smoke in the process, they can too, and I’m here to help them!

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Well, I’m fairly new to Georgia, I moved here from Indiana, so I’m still learning all the hot spots, lol. But I would definitely take them to The Battery, Chattahoochee Food Works, the Botanical Gardens, and Piedmont park for sure. I love going to new restaurants and trying new food and new experiences, so I am always open to finding a new spot to check out!

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I would like to shout out my own coach, Gwen Knowlton for not only helping me see me, but also helping me see the truth about my healing, my gift, and my purpose.
