Meet Taylor Gladmon | The BartendHER

We had the good fortune of connecting with Taylor Gladmon and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Taylor, do you have any habits that you feel contribute to your effectiveness?
Implementing the habit of getting better by 1% each day. Stepping out of my comfort zone and networking, and being confident that I am the best. Creating a schedule and sticking to it. Also, meditation! Meditating helps me think about new ideas and I can meditate on a topic and immediately get an answer.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
Working in the restaurant/bar industry definitely helped me realize what I should & should not do in my own business. With my bartending services, I try to be very accommodating so there’s no need for anything.
I just took the leap! I decided that I need to put my all into this to achieve my goals.. I can’t become a billionaire working for someone else.
Honestly, it was easy for me. I’ve been bartending over a decade so I can make drinks with my eyes closed. Networking and putting myself on a platform to get bartending gigs was a trial and error but I’ve learned so much and I get better everyday. I started off using a table with a cover as my bar, now I have a portable bar and a trailer that I am converting into a mobile bar.
As an artist, I am sensitive about my sh*t.
I take pride in all of my recipes and found a passion in making tutorial videos. I love my bartending gigs and have received many referrals from previous clients, it makes me very happy.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I love places with unique and fun cocktails.
There’s a speakeasy NONALCOHOLIC bar in Atlanta called The Sober Social. It’s so cute, and definitely an experience. The owner is an amazing soul and everything is so craftly-made & made with love. It feels like you’re actually having a cocktail.
Then we’d go across the street to Bottle Rocket for Sushi & Sakí.
(Shoutout to Beecher for introducing me to The Sober Social)

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
Atomic Habits by James Clear. I live by this book.
Esther Hicks- I listen to her YouTube videos every morning to start my day.
My husband, for being fully supportive of my goals and ambitions when I decided to leave the restaurant industry to start my mobile bar services.
& our kids are always excited when I post my content. They are the taste-testers for all of my nonalcoholic recipes.
