I have in my bio that this is “the result of passion, frustration and love.” What it means to me and what I like about it is, it shows how all the ingredients play a part in shaping what becomes,
Looking back on different seasons and situations, I accept them for what they were because I got me to where I am now. We gotta keep progressing. Read More>>

One of the most important things I’ve done as a parent is to model what it looks like to be healthy, not just physically but in all domaines of health. As the father of a two-year-old daughter, I know she’s watching everything I do, even at this age. So I try to be intentional about how I show up, not just physically, but emotionally and mentally too. Read More>>

Working with a partner. It was largely luck that we ended up together to build this business, but sticking with her has had the best possible outcome. We are fortunate that we have very different skill sets, with mine behind development-focused and hers design-focused, but with a very similar viewpoint on life. We’ve agreed on how to grow the company, who to hire, and all of the little pieces along the way with very little friction. If I could do it all over again, I’d start with her by my side every time. I want my legacy to be generational-a ripple that carries through ten generations of the Davis-McClendon family. Let the ones who come after me inherit abundance, freedom, and possibility. When I’m aligned with Spirit, things that once felt hard suddenly open with grace. That’s the rhythm I help my clients attune to in both healing and in business. Teaching the fundamentals in composition. Learning to “see” is a practiced skill set. Building enthusiasm for the craft itself begins with passion and confidence. If I can give a student the confidence in knowing the 7 tenants of design, then their enthusiasm will grow. They in turn will master the art of dedicating the time to become a better painter. God first, family second, I have always held to the principle of making the world a more beautiful place. The way we do anything, is the way we do everything. When I worship, love parent, paint, or teach, I hold to a higher standard . Trusting the rules throughout this process, builds my faith in life, work and people. Read More>>
