In my opinion, the number one idea related to this topic is that life spares no one. We all have our own adversities that have knocked us down. The best way to find out whether you should keep going or give up is to have an honest conversation with yourself. For example, if I have a goal I’ve been struggling to achieve, I decide to have a heart-to-heart with myself. I start to imagine what my life would look like if I stopped pursuing this goal altogether. How would it make me feel? If I start feeling a tremendous wave of relief, then it may be a sign it’s time to let it go. However, if I feel regret or sadness, it likely means this goal still holds meaning for me; I just haven’t perfected my plans yet.
