We had the good fortune of connecting with Nadia Lynn and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Nadia, is there something that you feel is most responsible for your success?
The most important factor behind the success of Lead By Motivation would be the fact that it shows other women like myself that it doesn’t matter where you come from, what you’ve been through, and definitely not how many times you start over. You can STILL become the best version of yourself! The version that you didn’t even know existed until you put in all the hard work & dedication. Lead By Motivation shows teen moms, single mothers, women that go through postpartum depression, and all types of trauma that it’s never too late to write their story the way they want it to be written. When Lead By Motivation was created back in 2019 the main phrase that always kept me going was “Let your faith be bigger than your fear”. Ever since I started to fully walk in my purpose I haven’t looked back, and that’s what success looks like here at Lead By Motivation.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
Before I built up the confidence to fulfill my purpose and lead in my own direction I was walking with my head down just trying to fit in. I was living out other people’s dreams even though I knew deep down inside it wasn’t my reality. I created Lead By Motivation to strongly encourage others to be a leader within themselves, and in their communities. To lead those around you in a positive direction. On my journey I realized nobody was supporting me the way I wanted to be supported, so I had to become the best player on my team. Staying motivated isn’t always easy as some people make it out to be. On those days when I feel overwhelmed & hopeless I always remember my #1 why. My #1 why is my children, and of course the exact reason why I strive so hard to maintain a positive attitude. My children deserve the best mommy I can possibly be.

What makes Lead By Motivation different from any other motivational platform would be that we host annual events dedicated to self awareness, and mental health. Our most popular events as of right now would be our 60 Days Locked IN, and Peace At The Park. Our 60 Days Lock In begins in the month of February to April of every year. We lock into our goals & purpose, and learn about variety of things and provide resources we could all benefit from. We also learn from one another by telling our stories. This helps us create many long lasting relationships. Secondly everyone’s favorite is the Peace At The Park Celebration that takes place in May for Mental Health Awareness Month. This particular event is about getting the community outside to spread love, to be surrounded by positive energy, and to be able to network with their neighbors. Peace At The Park encourages families to come outdoors to participate in group activities as they learn about the Importance of mental health.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Once my friends come in to town it’s time for us to enjoy a wonderful self care day in the house. No really, I love to have my tribe over to eat great food, drink nice wine, and catch up. It’s something about spending quality where we can be vulnerable, and just be there for each other. My circle of friends mean a lot to me, so when we plan any sleepovers, small gatherings. or simply just a link up those are never taken for granted.

On the other hand…I also like to be “outsidee”. One place I love to enjoy is the Slingshot Social Game Club in Atlanta, The place is filled with many arcade games that you can play with including Extreme Duckpin, and Superskee. Those two games are my absolute favorites! There’s nothing like feeling like a big kid again, & enjoying the life we were created for.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I would love to give a huge shoutout to my LBM Family. The LBM Family is what I call all my supporters and followers. Especially those who attend, volunteer, donate, and participate in everything that we do throughout the year. I would also thank them for always pushing me become a better & healthier version of myself. I made a post a while back stating that I’m human just like everyone else. I go through difficult times, I have insecurities, and even on some days I may feel lonely; my LBM Family makes sure not the only am I there for them, but they’re also there for me. Without them I wouldn’t have gotten this far. I love the support that we give one another, as well as sharing resources we all may need in our communities.
