We had the good fortune of connecting with Eternity Hyppolite and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Eternity, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
My thought process was incorporating all my gifts and experiences to help others become the best version of themselves. To create spaces for artists and individuals seeking change to grow and build in community, there must be a starting point. My goal is to be that starting point. Eternal Fitness Studios is an emotionally safe space for people to come together in unity, love, and peace. My business plan includes dance classes, open mic nights, writing meditation workshops, copywriting, and editing services. We have a large variety of tools to help others in business and in their personal lives.
Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
I am eccentric to say the least. Actor, author, dance instructor, host, model, and spoken-word artist. I wear all these hats with pride. These are my passions and my gifts. I do everything with love, intention, and soul.
I am most proud of self-publishing 5 books in under 3 years. My desire to write a book has been a long time coming. I am grateful to have had the courage to complete it in divine timing. After my first book a few years ago, I could not stop writing. The words from my Spirit kept coming and I knew it was my duty to answer the call.
I have been writing for the majority of my life. I began performing spoken-word almost 12 years ago now and never looked back.
I am currently working on my next book that will be even more profound and deeper with my true-life story. I will share things I have never shared before. I go deeper emotionally and spiritually with each book. I write in the chapters of my life. It is therapeutic and it is challenging.
I created these books, so people know they are not alone in their journey. My books are about relationships – with self, romance, friends, and family. I speak about my own lived experiences and lessons. In each book, I inspire the reader to look within and do better in all relationships. Especially the relationship with self. I truly believe life is all about relationships.
My purpose was and is to thrive – live life on my own terms. My brand is about relationship building. Not only in romance, but all relationships. I share my story vulnerably on these pages (books) and on stages to help someone else along the way. Nothing is more healing than being honest about your journey. Mission statement: your story is your power.
Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Definitely grab a cupcake at Kupcakerie in East Point. Check out Kat’s Cafe when Milk hosts his open mic once a month. Urban Grind for tea and when they host open mic nights on Thursdays. Mr. Brock star is also an amazing host and artist! Velvet Taco, Jazzy Juice Cafe, and Green Love Kitchen in Lithonia for meals.
I highly recommend the Human & Civil Rights Museum. Hang out at Piedmont Park and check out the Botanical Gardens! Grant Park is a beautiful space to walk around as well. I love nature and recommend Arabia Mountains.
In my eyes, open mic shows are the best places to meet new people. As an artist, it is always beautiful to come together in unity. The spaces are always filled with a lot of love, high vibrations, and talent. Live shows are the best for everyone involved!

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
My first shout out is to my home open mic show, “If You Can Feel It, You Can Speak It” in Boston, MA. That was my home for a decade and it allowed me to grow as a spoken-word artist. I also must shout out 2 of my favorite English teachers who truly helped me to evolve as a writer. Ms. Amy Dickey from Melbourne High School and Professor Susan Martelli from Massasoit Community College. Susan has retired for a while now. The impact these two women had on my life truly stayed with me all these years. I know they are both proud of the woman and author that I am. They believed in me and got me through some difficult times. I was challenged as a writer because of their influences.
Another shout out goes to my soul mother, Felicia Casher. She is my chosen godmother who has guided me these last few years. Mama Fe has a special place in my heart. I would not have overcome some of the darkest moments of my life without her guidance.
