We had the good fortune of connecting with Zeus Antonio and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Zeus, can you talk to us a bit about the social impact of your business?
My business helps the community and world because I can show people that you can live unapologetically. I’m able to create and produce content that makes people all around the world feel inspired. I want little boys, girls, and adults to feel beautiful inside and out. We all need motivation and inspiration to help us grow as a unity.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
My art is me being me. I love to create content and use my creativity to influence people. What sets me apart from others is that I am an entrepreneur because I am a digital creator, dancer/choreographer, makeup artist, DIY maker, stylist, personal shopper, and custom-distress designer. I am most proud of how can inspire the LGBTQ+ community to be themselves authentically. I got to where I am today because I stayed focused on my own path. I followed my own journey and created my lane. Being nice, real, and unapologetically me. It was not easy and still not easy because I get backlash to this day because “I am too gay” or “men shouldn’t wear makeup or dress in women’s clothing”. I overcame these challenges by not letting strangers’ comments get to me because I know my intentions and my purpose is to bring normalization back to the gay community. I’ve learned numerous lessons throughout my experiences as a social media creator, but one that stuck with me is being my biggest supporter. I want the world to know that this was not handed to me I had to create this lane for myself and it’s continuously growing. The rest of my story is unwritten, continue following me @kingzeusantonio to see what I am doing next!

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
If my best friend was visiting for a week…we would start with getting a manicure and pedicure in Center City Philadelphia at City Nails on 15th & JKF. After that, we would go to Green Eggs Cafe for lunch. I would order The Kitchen Sink and a Salted Caramel Mocha Latte, which is so yummy. There are so many places to go to in Philadelphia. We would hang out and shop at King of Prussia Mall. Who doesn’t love shopping while visiting another city? Also, we would eat at Bar Taco. Who doesn’t love tacos? A classic margarita, street corn, Baja tacos, and churros for dessert. At night we would check out Level Up Bar & Lounge, which is black-owned. Hookah me, please! Dance the night away and have tequila sunrises! With an extra shot of tequila on the side. I would take my Bestie to the Fashion District for fun at the arcade, bowling, and movies.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I want to dedicate my shoutout to my friends because they motivate me daily to KEEP GOING! I appreciate my friends for understanding and supporting me through the good and bad times.
Also, my social media friends became real-life friends.
We were able to relate to each other so much that we built a strong relationship and bounced ideas off each other and hold each other accountable for being consistent.
