We had the good fortune of connecting with Zavier Fields and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Zavier, is there something that you feel is most responsible for your success?
Mostly just staying consistent even when I felt like it wasn’t any progress being made I had to just trust the process and keep going.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
Really what’s set me apart from other is that I truly never cared about fitting in from when I was young my mom gave this lil card I kept in my book bag and it quoted “why try to fit in when you was born to standout” and that has truly stuck with me to this day. I’m really amp to see where my music go and truly music really wasn’t something I wanted to do until like 2 years ago when I first really started tapping in with the music my dad had past away and It became a coping method to express how I felt to my self and ended letting people hear and they like it. I feel like the easy part making the music but the hard part is being consistent the hardest challenge I feel like I had to overcome is wacthing my streams at it was like I wasn’t getting any views or low views and felt like then my music wasn’t good but then I realize then when that’s consistency have to come in l. Truly what I want the world to know about me is truly the real me nothing else and tell the story of what I been through and how it made me into the person I am now the person that make the music that people like

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Considering I stay on the outskirts of the city I was take them to the city lol to buckhead some real good food really don’t be out much but like to go to the Puttshack

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
Really don’t have anybody particular to shoutout but definitely want to thank everyone who do support me and push me to chase what I love to do but then again shoutout to 20west the team where it all started.
