Hi Zaniyah, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?

I wanted more . I knew I didn’t want to work for somebody so I’m like I got to make something shake for myself so I can be my own boss. My inspiration was my mom and also jayda wayda lol . I was always around people who had a hustling mindset . I loved the way jayda will take her marketing to the next level and I looked up to that . Of course there were times I wanted to just drop the whole entrepreneurship because I thought it was “too hard” but I had the support system. I had people telling me ear to ear that I could do it .

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
When I first started Baddieexperience hair extension , it was in 2020 around covid. It took me about 3 months to figure out a name. I love getting my hair done it give me the confidence even when I’m not feeling my best and just enhances beauty overall. That was the same feeling I wanted to give my customers when they purchase hair and accessories from me. I want to give joy to others beauties. When I first thought of baddie experience hair extensions I didn’t have a vision on what I wanted to do all I knew was I what I wanted to selling hair. I really didn’t have anything . It took me about 2 years to find out a perfect vendor. I officially launched my brand March 2022 after my first shoot . Everything went so well .. . Being my own boss someday is my biggest career goal. This is just another big step towards that and it’s only up from here . This process so far has been very intense for me as a young entrepreneur but I enjoy every last bit of it .

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Oh wow! It all depends, my best friend lives near by but if friends were coming to visit,I would try to put myself in their shoes and maximize their experience. I would start with well known locations and then add in some local hidden gems i know here and there. I can’t think of anything right now , but I guarantee we’ll have a great time finding things on tiktok .

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
There’ s not just one person that I can dedicate my shoutout to but of course my mom and boyfriend get this one for sure. They inspired me, we’re always there for assistance, even from the distance , and got things done ! They both are aware of the fact that I occasionally try to take on more then I can manage and both are the persistent preacher in my ear telling me that all will turn out for the best
