We had the good fortune of connecting with Zaneishia Lynch and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Zaneishia, why did you decide to pursue a creative path?
Great question. I honestly did not choose the artistic/creative path….it chose me. I played in the shadows most of my life trying to hide from the world., but every time I hid life called me out. I would dance in the corner and get pulled into the crowd somehow. I’ve always wanted to be in the limelight secretly hehe so I finally just had the courage to go for it. Sometimes you have to create your own stage. I created one shirt that is slowly turning into a recognizable brand. SoulAligned. Our mission? Be you B.A.E!! Transform your life through Big Alchemist Energy. It’s pretty cliche and simple but everything is simple. Humans or man makes things difficult. Being a creative is showing me that life is simple and it’s fun to be ME. Create, have fun, and share your experiences.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
Y’all have great questions!!! I’ve gotten this far in life by simply being myself. I know it sounds cliche but it really is that simple. Just be you. The people who are meant to see you and understand you WILL. I wasn’t always this carefree though. In the past I was a perfectionist. I wanted to fit everyone’s list. But the main thing I’ve learned being creative is that you and your creations are NOT for everyone. Find your lane, your passion and stay focused. I want the world to know that you can create the life you desire and dream of. It’s not out of reach.

You just need to align yourself with what you’re asking. Change your mindset, habits, and the people you have around you. This is what I express through my creative clothing line Soul Aligned. Alignment is the assignment. Once you’re aligned or in balance with what you’re asking the universe for everything falls into place.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I’m from Atlanta. Everyone wants to come to Atlanta. The city is too busy to hate. Everyone here is a star. I’m an old soul and I like laid back chill places so if my pal tells me they’re hungry I have to take them to Wing Depot on the south side. Everyone knows the wing is the thing in Atlanta. Or hit up J.R. Crickets in Midtown. We’d hang out on the Boulevard + Edgewood. Plenty of bars and local eateries on this strip. My favorite? The Joystick Gamebar. It’s a bar, arcade, and chill spot all in one. For walking around for pleasure we’ll have to visit Midtown/Piedmont Park. Plenty of people, views, and eateries to check out here. Most definitely would have to rock our hips at MJQ. A literal underground dancehall. The most fun, exciting, and eclectic creatives you’ll meet are in the neighborhood of Little 5 Points. On any given day you’re sure to have a wonderful shopping + eating experience.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
My first shoutout goes to God without God I wouldn’t be here to be recognized.

Second shoutout goes to the book The Alchemist. My current energy is about turning your pain into passion. Transforming your life from copper to gold. An alchemist is indeed a scientist and or magician. The way I’ve transformed myself all be myself, despite my bad experiences is nothing but pure magic. Lastly I’d like to shoutout all the people who I’ve never met physically but still support me and my creations. They always say strangers will be the first to see + support you.
