We had the good fortune of connecting with Youngsta Savage and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Youngsta, why did you decide to pursue a creative path?
First, arts is what i like for real. It’s my talent, to do different artistic works mostly music and a little bit photographing is what i really love

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
First of all what differentiate me from others is being real. I really like to be real and i’m proud of that. Again,my professional journey was not an easy journey because in most of our communities here to come out as an artist especially musician is something that is not welcomed well by member of the society. I’ve to stay me and do my work passionately keeping God First over everything and working hard till now they accept me as I am although is not 100%. The lesson i learned is you’ve to be you to be genuine and people will appreaciate you as who you are!. I want the world to recognize my music and archieve some big steps like having international collaborations with big rappers mostly Atlanta rappers like Migos,Lil Baby,Young Thung etc. I wanna make Africa proud of me.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
I think in restaurants or gaming houses this are the mostly places we young people really love.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I’d like to thank my parents for supporting me all the time. Also my team MEN TRUST MUSIC and my crazy brother MIKUE YOUNG. Yaahp shotout to them and all my brothers and sisters out there
