Meet Yolanda ‘Blazia’ Grace | Entrepreneur/Singer Songwriter

We had the good fortune of connecting with Yolanda ‘Blazia’ Grace and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Yolanda ‘Blazia’, looking back, what do you think was the most difficult decision you’ve had to make?
What is the most difficult decision I’ve ever had to make? There’s so many difficult decisions I make every day! Off the top of my head I can name countless ones, pertaining to what I’d do with my last couple of dollars on hand, to what task to prioritize, to which career path I should take. But they all boil down to 1 decision. The decision to move forward. What ever the options are, big or small, whether they pan out or not, comes down to the decision to move forward and take action!

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
I am a multi-faceted artist who expresses my artistic talents through performing arts (singing, songwriting, dancing, and acting) and painting, furniture restoration, and hand constructing decorative designs.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
If I had a friend visiting we would go to Iron Age Korean BBQ to eat- because you havn’t experience Korean BBQ until you go with a Korean ( and I’m half Korean)
We would hit up downtown Piedmont park district, where we can experience Atlantas beautiful Piedmint Park conjoined next to The Botanical Gardens, and some of the best drag shows in town right across the street- no matter your orientation eveyone needs to experience a good gay bar! We would take my ryker ( three wheeler ) to Amacacola falls to see the sunset and the water fall! We would hit up some hot roof top parties in Buckhead, and some of the best underground parties at Westside Motor Lounge and MJQ!
We’d hang out at my house – which is super cozy, and we would go to Lake Lanier if it was the summer time . I even drag my local friends to the lake despite the taboo history there are lots of people who love the lake and lots of people of color who own boats on the lake!

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I’d like to shout out Atlanta HD Studios for allowing me to share my talents in so many positive projects, and allowing me to be a part of their artist family.
