We had the good fortune of connecting with Yeung Human and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Yeung, other than deciding to work for yourself, what was the single most important decision you made that contributed to your success?
Deciding that there was no back-up plan to achieving my goals, despite the odds. Adopting a perspective that made it possible and fulfilling to sustain a consistent volume of work over a long period of time has been essential. Along with this, implementing a conscious effort to systemize my artistic process in a way thats naturally conducive to me has aided tremendously in my evolution as a musician and all areas of my creative process.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
I’m very proud that I’ve been able to transfer my experience and love for drumming into my production style in my own way. It’s taken some time to develop to where it is now, but I’m always aiming to create something unique regardless of how it fits in the musical meta, and I’ve been able to do that by pulling from my diverse tool box of musical tricks that I will continue to develop in perpetuity.

I still have quite a ways to go, but I want the world to know that what I’ve achieved is no magic trick, its simply compounded effort and passion over time with focus, to an unreasonable, irrational amount that has somehow manifested some degree of material success and genuine joy for me. I’ve learned to love the process itself and the challenge.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
As far as personal inspirations go, the first names that come to Mind are DJ Paul / Three 6 Mafia for all the hits, incredible production catalogue and the true independent blueprint, Timbaland for all the game he shares regularly to the producer community especially via his Twitch, and Illmind for being on the cutting edge in all the metaverses and a voice of sound reason and inspiration in the independent music space.

There are truly too many people to thank, but I would generally like to shoutout the entirety of “YouTube” University and podcasts for the plethora of knowledge and experience that people have shared that I am a beneficiary of and incredibly grateful for.

Also I have to give a serious shoutout all of my friends, fellow creators, artists, musicians and entrepreneurs, in particular
