We had the good fortune of connecting with Yannah Lashea and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Yannah, what is the most important factor behind your success?
The most important factor behind the success of my brand would definitely seeing how it impacted women all over the world. The main goal for my business is to get Women all around to fall back in love with theirselves with our Self-Love and Self-Care products. As a women, it’s so easily to fall out of love with yourself but should be just as easy to fall back in love with yourself as well. I believe with my Self Care products and with my soon to come Self-Love digital products, Women can get back into falling in love with their outter beauty and inner ego, if i can do that I believe my brand is successful.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
“Humble Luxury LLC” is a self-care/self-love brand that promotes self-care products and self-love digital products to allow women to fall back in love with themselves. My Brand first originated as “Glosses By Lasheaa” when I was 14 making and selling my own lipgloss in high school. I always knew I wanted to be an Entrepreneur, watching my Granddad own his own business, he always inspired me to be my own boss. Beauty products has always been an interest in mine and overall I decided to expand my business with Lip Scrubs, Lip Oils and etc. At the age of 18, I knew I wanted my Brand to be more than just beauty products, as i was going through trials and tribulations myself I wanted my Brand to inspire women who were just like me. There has been plenty of times I’ve fallen out of love with myself and I wanted to find a way to turn my pain into my passion, which is my business. I decided to base my Brand on self-love and self-care to inspire those who felt how i felt.

The challenges that I have overcome throughout the years of being an entrepreneur would have to be discipline and consistency. At times we think owning our own business is easy because we aren’t working for someone else, but it can get hard because you can only depend on you to discipline yourself, motivate yourself and to stay consistent. I learned over the years, it’s okay to take breaks but what’s not okay is to give up. A way I overcame inconsistency and procrastination is by setting a set routine as if this is my 9-5 job but I also allowed myself to take breaks throughout my journey to keep myself from getting overwhelmed.

“Humble Luxury LLC” has so much in store for 2025 and I’m most proud of our “Self-Love” E-Book we have coming very soon. I think it sets us aside from other beauty businesses because we are not only interested in how we can help our customers feel on the outside, but how they feel on the inside as well. I would love for the world to know how determined we are to get women out of that feeling of feeling unloved. We aspire women all over to love themselves and take care of theirselves, letting them know they’re not alone.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
There are a lot of fun and interesting places i’ve heard about in my city and even some of my favorites. If I was to start my day with Brunch I would visit Marie’s Lounge, I always hear good reviews about them and how they’re one of the best brunch spots in Macon. Throughout the day I would say the movies would probably be one of best places to go, as they have an ice cream shop right next to it called Marble Slab Creamery where you can make your ice cream with however many toppings and flavors. Lastly, I would say a fun place to go for like dinner or just a night out would be Vibez or Overtyme as both places have very good food and a variety of drink options.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I would first and foremost dedicate my shoutout to my family for inspiring me and believing me. Another shoutout I would give is to Boujee Barbie on instagram, to see how inspiring she is and how motivated she is for her business pushes me to do the same for mine, definitely the definition of an influencer!
