Meet Xavier “Bxxda” Moore | Artist , producer & fashion designer

We had the good fortune of connecting with Xavier “Bxxda” Moore and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Xavier “Bxxda”, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
Music has always been a go to stress reliever for me and my family so as I got older I figured out that if I didn’t involve myself in the industry, I’d be stressed out or loose sight of my mission
Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
It all started in church. I Was told as a child that I was called to preach the word of god but I’ve never felt comfortable enough to stand in front of the “Righteous” because I grew up around the sinners. I make music and clothes for those who desire change but also understand that life is complex and tricky. Jesus sat with the sinners, so I will too.
I got here by prayer, believing in myself and refusing to be denied. There’s a million other things I could be doing but none of them make me happy like music.
I’ve grown accustomed to loss, so it doesn’t bother me as much as it used to. Loosing my mom taught me that nothing is promised and the world is going to continue to turn regardless if you want it to or not.
I want thr world to know that through god anything is possible, but you have to meet him halfway in whatever it is you want to do. You can’t sit around and wait for opportunities. Go take em! That’s what XX means.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Alright , so first day we gotta go to Pearland witch is about an hour drive from Freeport, where I’m from. Better know as the water.
Lunch has to be at Bonchon! It’s a Korean wing spot in the town center. It’s my favorite spot, great food and good service!
Then we’d go check out some drip at my brother’s store, Pressure Blvd which is also in Freeport.
I spend alot of my time there, brainstorming, coming up with concepts & debating sports.
For dinner we’d stay local and probably hit my favorite seafood spot.” La serinita “ it’s a Mexican seafood restaurant with the best shrimp in town.
Next we’d hit the studio and get a session in with my guy C4Play at press play studios in Angleton
Then we could hit one of the bars or something, I’m not much of a drinker though.
I normally have activities to attend for my kids or my nieces or something. I’m pretty boring in the aspect of hanging out or doing things
The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
My mom! She was a devout Christian and the best mom you could ask for.
My nieces, my brothers and most importantly my girlfriend and kids!
Family comes first in everything I touch.
A special thanks is in order for Berto, Kornerstone beats, & BlacJac beats!
