We had the good fortune of connecting with Wykia Chisolm-Jackson and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Wykia, what’s the most important thing you’ve done for your children?
The most important thing my husband and I have done as parents in terms of the impact on our children is teaching and showing them the importance of education, credit and entrepreneurship. We want our children to be better than we were growing up. We want our children to know that the sky’s the limit and they can succeed in any career paths whether it’s entrepreneurship or a corporate career.
Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
Brick City Custom Tees was founded in 2016 as a small home based business with our main customers being family and friends. We had no idea that this small business would excel into the company that it is today.
We’re constantly improving because we treat our workspace not just as a place to do business, but as a place to learn. We’re always working on realizing new ways to deliver an even higher quality product with even faster turnaround times. From extraordinary print detail and exceptional customer service, to something as simple as delivering on the day we promise, we make sure you receive exactly what you want – when you want it. We have worked extremely hard, learned millions of lessons, and have invested incalculable amounts of time and energy into perfecting our craft to bring you a high quality product with a delivery date you can count on consistently. We love helping people create memories and tell their story through our T Shirts.
If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
One of my favorite places to visit is the Georgia Aquarium. I also love the Trap Museum, Kandy’s restaurant OLG, Escobar Lounge, and Savoy bar and grill just to name a few.
Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I’d like to dedicate my shoutout to my business partner and husband, Shawn Jackson as he plays a detrimental part in the success of our business. Furthermore, I’d like to also shoutout my four children, Kamron, Kayere, Kajuan, and Kaelyn as they are my husband and I inspiration.
