We had the good fortune of connecting with Winnie D Talley and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Winnie D, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
I have a holistic perspective as it relates to ownership. I believe that mankind was created for a divine purpose. We all have that one thing that we are passionate about. No matter what we are doing, are where we are professionally, we will always find was to satisfy that passion.

Essentially, that passion is your purpose. The thing is this, society has conditioned the people to believe that they cannot be successful on their own. Not to mention the lack of support that is offered to those that wants to go against the grain or the worldly expectations. Thats where faith comes in.

We have to believe that our God given gift will make room for us. We have to know that we can be successful with the talents we were born with. Even if you want to secure partnerships with other organizations, I believe it’s critical to have your own foundation as well. I don’t agree with the notation, that your livelihood should be in the hands of man – you must create your own stability.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
People Operations Services is a Human Resource Firm that was built on the love for people. I am committed in providing solutions to organizations to help them pour into their people. We offer employee engagement programs, accounting programs, and more.

I also give back to the community through my For the Love of People Foundation, where I provide necessity for humanity all across the world. In less than a year, I have been granted the opportunity to bless hundreds of people throughout the United States, and other countries, such as Nigeria, Kenya, and more.

This journey has not been easy, but it has been worth it. One of my biggest challenges has been funding. I have never received any funding or donations for my adventures, but God has made sure I had and have everything I need, and at the right time, he will make sure I have more.

I have learned that you can’t compare your life to others. As the quote says, “There’s no comparison between the sun and the moon. They shine when it’s their time.”

People Operations provide affordable services for all organizations, and we are here to help all the way. Once you purchase our services, we become lifetime partners, and we are ready and willing to help you as much as we can.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
When family and friends come to the city, the first stop is Truist Park in Marietta, GA. While we are there, we will eat at one of my favorite spots, The Yardhouse. Day 2, were shopping all day at the Mall of Georgia in Buford, GA.
Day 3, We are dressing up and touring downtown Atlanta, site seeing, before we go to the Georgia Aquarium to see the whale sharks and dolphin show.
Day 4, we are going wherever my guests wants to go, before we have dinner at Stoney River Steakhouse and Grill in Duluth, GA
Day 5, We are spending a day downtown Alpharetta, GA, checking out the stores on the strip and having lunch at Coalition Steak and Seafood.
Day 6, Will be a relaxing day, most likely we will go to the movies at Studio Movie Grill in Marietta, GA for a nice dinner and movie.
Day 7, The whole house is going to my church, Change Church, in Duluth, GA to hear from my pastor, Dr. Dharius Daniels.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I would have not embarked on my entrepreneur journey if it wasn’t for Lo, the Founder and CEO at LODID Locs in Maretta, GA.

I randomly selected Lo on the Booksy App to style my hair because my hairstylist was booked out of town, and I needed my hair done. Not only did she provide great customer service and style, but she also planted the seed in me that I should follow my passion and purpose and open my own Human Resource Firm.

She sent over some links for me to research, and because of her encouragement, I was moved to follow through, and it was the best decision I could have ever made.

I believe that Lo was used as my destiny helper. Our connection was divine and because I was obedient, my life will never be the same. So please give a HUGE shout to Lo! Thank you so much for pouring into me.
