We had the good fortune of connecting with William Mueller and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi William, we’d love to hear about how you approach risk and risk-taking
The most important role. We think of risks as negatives, and while they don’t always work out, some do, and the ones that do are what makes it worth it every single time. Risks show confidence and can set you apart as a leader, not follower. We learn from each risk, good or bad, and that internal growth holds a priceless value, doesn’t matter if you fail as long as you learned, because it takes just one successful risk to change your life. You have to pursue success and dreams aren’t achieved always playing it safe..

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
I’m an auto broker, essentially sourcing exotic cars, modifying them, and reselling them. The thing that would set me apart is this isn’t a business for me, it’s a hobby and passion and something I thoroughly enjoy doing. I pay attention to detail and make sure to sell a vehicle different from any other of its kind. I’ve have a passion for cars that started as a child, which grew over the years. I’ve always felt cars are a representation of their owner, and also can be a form of art. My life goal had always been to own an exotic car, and at 32 I achieved it, the fulfillment that gave me led me to set newer higher goals that I keep achieving, it’s a motivation I think only ambitious people can understand, it’s an energy you carry. I got into a ton of trouble younger, went to prison, and had to restart my life at 23 with nothing to my name. As a man and father I felt like a failure and knew that was not my destiny. The fear of failing, being a statistic, being average, not maximizing my potential, not enjoying the goals and dreams I had for my life are all reasons I am where I am today. I think good things come to good people, I focused on myself and the way I interacted with others, and it changed my life.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Interesting question – and I think this would be situational.. depending on their age, if they’ve been here before, i they’re alone, etc..

Of course you have the fun staples of Coca Cola, aquarium, sports games, the sky view wheel is neat. You have Stone Mountain for something outdoor wise. And food, man there are so many awesome spots in the city to try.

I love to hang around downtown Alpharetta, great area, taffers tavern has an awesome Old Fashion and large pretzel haha 🙂

If they are a car guy, there’s caffeine and octane car show monthly, and I’m very active in an exotic car group in atlanta. We meet up for lunch’s, events, shows, drives a few times a week. We host shows for charity events and just try to help out around the community. If you saw the Take it to the track event which made news this year and last, we hosted that. So we’d be doing stuff like such.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
No one, I’d shout myself out if anyone, at the end of the day I’m the one that had to rebuild my life, I didn’t have help or handouts, I didn’t have friends, I did it my damn self. I had my families support, and I had my daughter young which she’s the main reason I’m so driven, I want to be a great dad as my relationship with mine growing up wasn’t the best.
