We had the good fortune of connecting with Wesley Pellot and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Wesley, looking back, what do you think was the most difficult decision you’ve had to make?
To be honest, leaving my “9-5” even though that was the goal and it was one of the best decisions of my life, it was also the hardest. Not having a weekly check to depend on was really hard at first, but it really push me to a whole different level of creative hustle that I didn’t think I had.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
One thing that I’m proud of is to have reach the amount or people that I have, yet be from not a well known place. And I’m definitely excited for what’s ahead for my photography career. Hon, I got to where I am today by learning the hard way, I didn’t go to school for photography 90% was YouTube University, and there’s a lot of business lessons that I have to learn and ended up losing a lot of money, but looking back now, I love the fact that I learn at such an early stage in my career, now I’m more wise with hands long business with much bigger companies. That where it gets noticed by a lot of people of not, anything that I put out, I truly love.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
I’m very much an introvert, plus leaving In a small city doesn’t help either but, Huntsville is growing slowly but surely, mid-city and downtown are opening more spots and it’s becoming the places to be here. A lot of people have been enjoying them so far.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I would have to say someone that’s very special to me Melaine, she was definitely the backbone of how I moved and got to where I am today, definitely helped me become the man and business I am today.
