Meet Wendell Moore | Greze owner and CEO of BlackFarmerco inc, Philanthropist & National Recording Artist & Advocate for Autism

We had the good fortune of connecting with Wendell Moore and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Wendell, what inspires you?
I am inspired by my children that God blessed me with. They are the main reason behind my business and my daily motivation. I have three children under eight who have autism. They have caused me to focus on so many different things in life and about life. They inspired me to have a real discussion with God and myself about core values. Blackfarmerco roots begin and end with my children.
Im also inspired by my community and the heritage and hardworking people inside and outside of it as well. The community is a inspiration forever everyday. Seeing children still being created with all these ideas and thoughts that need just a little guidance makes me happy. It also prepares me to take my seat where I belong with the rest of the village to protect them and help them along the way

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
I think what sets me apart from others is I lead with my heart. SWV said use your heart and not your eyes and that’s exactly what I do. Im a pleaser and I’m not into music for just the money at all. I want to make memories and healing vibrations for the ages.
Im excited about everyday god gives me to do better than the day before. Im excited every time someone tells me they love my music cause I planted a seed and its growing. I love being the BlackFarmer and I love harvest time!! Im excited about putting out a new project this year. I have worked and with and written for more industry artist this year than ever before.
I basically prayed and kept pushing forward. I fell a lot of times and prayed for strength to get back up. Was it easy ? Not at all not even close. Was it worth it ? Very much so and it help blossom some of the greatest relationships I have encountered. Remembering what my parents taught me and what I learned in church as well. Respecting others and their space and being a Good Samaritan for sure are my cornerstones.
Praying and keeping a good relationship with my parents help me get through challenges in life. Keeping God first is a must.
I have learned that you only can control you and what you do. If you burn bright by working hard and keeping your faith strong everyone will feel you like the sun. You don’t have to worry about support trust me everyone loves summertime and the sunshine.
I want the world to know that I’m not afraid to stand with them and go through all the emotions. Im human just like everyone else. I can’t wait for them to feel the energy and see that its real over here at RillaRecords. I make music for my people and especially the melanated women of the world. It’s been too long that don’t feel protected and loved in these songs and I’m bringing that back full force. As for my story that is still being written everyday its promising to be a wonderful never-ending story.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
Well there is so much and so many I can’t imagine where to start at. God being the head of my life cause I can’t do anything without him at the helm. My parents for everything in this world. My father for showing me hardworking and patience and my mother for nurtruing me and teaching me to never give up on myself and always protect your neck. She also taught me how to skate and guided me into playing trumpet and singing as well.
My family at home as well again they are the main reason I even push myself as hard as I do. I could do nothing without the support of my queen and my children.
The 100 Black Men of St. Louis is a organization I would love to shoutout for everything they do back at home as well. We are in the community all year long. Providing meals and education and resources as much as possible to the ones who need it. The mentoring programs that we have established with the youth and within the school districts is critical and much needed always. I just want to thank them for allowing me to serve my community along side them and for keeping me balance and strong. #The100Way
I also want to thank my team at RillaRecords and that goes for my manager , stylist, secretary, security , DJ, and my photographers and graphic team. I can’t do much out here without the support from you all and I thank you for adjusting your lives around my dreams I love you all.
Also shoutout to Shoutout Atlanta for giving a kid from Washington Park by way of East St. Louis a chance to show the block its more corners to spin then just these few.
