We had the good fortune of connecting with Wayne Levert and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Wayne, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
I started my business Paincups after a close friend of mine passed away. I wanted to create something that would honor his memory and keep him close to me at all times. Instead of putting his image on a shirt, I decided to put it on a cup. As I began to bring it with me to different events, people were drawn to the sentimental value of the product and asked how they could get their own cup. That’s when I realized the potential of turning it into a business.

Starting Paincups wasn’t just about creating a successful company, it was about creating a lasting legacy for my friend. The product has become a symbol of remembrance and celebration, bringing people together through shared experiences. It’s incredible to see the impact that one person’s vision can have on the world. I hope my business serves as an inspiration for others to pursue their own passions and make a difference in their own way.

What should our readers know about your business?
Paincups is a cup company that specializes in creating unique, personalized cups for any situation. Whether it’s a business event, a birthday party, or a way to remember someone special, our cups are designed to bring awareness to any situation.

What sets us apart from others is our commitment to quality and attention to detail. Each cup is carefully crafted to ensure that it meets our high standards of excellence. We’re also proud of our ability to bring people together through our products. It’s amazing to see how a simple cup can spark conversation and create connections between people.

Getting to where we are today hasn’t been easy. We’ve faced many challenges along the way, from finding the right suppliers to marketing our products effectively. However, we’ve been able to overcome these obstacles through persistence and creativity. We’ve learned that it’s important to stay true to our vision while being flexible enough to adapt to changing circumstances.

One of the most important lessons we’ve learned is the value of listening to our customers. Their feedback and input have been instrumental in shaping our products and improving our business. We also believe in giving back to the community and supporting causes that are important to us.

At the end of the day, we want the world to know that Paincups is more than just a business. It’s a symbol of connection, celebration, and remembrance. Our story is one of perseverance, passion, and the belief that anything is possible if you put your heart into it. We hope that our brand inspires others to pursue their own dreams and make a difference in the world.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Definitely we gotta hit slutty vegan. Back home in Rochester the food choices are very limited and slutty vegan will make you feel right at home.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
i would like to thank my family, friends, and loving girlfriend for supporting me throughout this entire journey
