Hi VONTE’LAY, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
I have been traveling for years teaching training on Marketplace Evangelism and teaching how to incorporate it on your job as well in your business. For years I have helped startup ministries and businesses with their structuring and team development out of passion. 2021 God instructed me to incorporate my business and stop working for free because my services are because of value and it is my gifts and talents. I honestly struggled with it for a very long time because when you do what you’re passionate about you don’t have to deal with money being an issue. Since then I have been able to consult and coach a lot of Pastors, Leaders, and Kingdom entrepreneurs in their business startup success and ministry development. I have been a Marketplace Minister for years and it became a part of my brand alongside my ministry identity.This year 2023 I have relocated to the Atlanta, GA Metropolitan area to dominate the Marketplace, and excited to connect with other successful entrepreneurs as well as help teach and train other faithpreneurs and organizations how to become successful by incorporating their faith values into their business structure.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Considering I’m new to Atlanta must say I absolutely love the Atlantic Station area it’s my kind of vibe it has everything you need from relaxation, entertainment, shopping, and hangout. On a good day, you can catch some type of entertainment outside on the lawn or find something nice at the marketplace vendors’ booths so we would definitely get around hanging there. I like the Atlanta Breakfast Club for Brunch and would hit up Flight Club Atlanta it’s a great place to get out and do something different. They have different dart games you can play. I never thought throwing darts would be as fun. It’s a great adult atmosphere. I haven’t had a chance to explore as much but I’m looking forward to trying a lot of new areas myself when my friends come to town.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I’m grateful for my beautiful tribe that supported me for years throughout my journey and I would love to acknowledge that would be my day one, Friend, Spiritual, and business partner Adria Johnson who has been rocking with me from the beginning I mean literally! It’s a blessing when someone trusts God in you throughout your journey and supports you through times that may look crazy to man. Second, it would be my Godmother, Spiritual Covering, and friend My Apostle Tami Robinson she has always been my biggest cheerleader and supporter. She was the first person to ever pay me my worth by seeding into me when I started my business and I will never forget that. Thank you to my longest friendship Dr. Sheron Littles she has been a big support throughout my life and I am so grateful for all the times you’ve carried me throughout the journey. My sister’s friend Assiba Apovo aka Lea has been a huge support in my life oh my I can’t even put into words how God used her to show up for me in so many ways words can’t even describe. Lea has always been another day-one supporter from ministry, business, and community outreach. Then it’s my faithful and loyal friends who have always supported and seeded into whatever I set out to do and my good girlfriend Tasha Mc Dowell who is a nurse and entrepreneur and runs her business Tasty T Creation, LLC in Simpsonville, South Carolina. My long-time friend Kartia Richardson I’m thankful for her continuous support. I want to thank my sister friend Pastor Tina Croach with Confident Cooking. Tina is another long-time friend and big supporter she has always shown up for me when I needed her and I so appreciate that. Tina also supported my business when I first started and did business coaching with me. Thank you Pastor Shanika Wagner with Cheffin W. Shanika for your continued love and support throughout my years of ministry I really appreciate all your love and support. My sister and brother Carolyn & Bill Lambright thank you both for your continuous love and support throughout the years. Thank you to one of my mentors Dr. Bj who has been supporting me throughout the years.
