We had the good fortune of connecting with Victoria Crowder and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Victoria, can you talk to us a bit about the social impact of your business?
I can definitely say that the services that Only Torie offers to the community promotes self love. Understanding that loving yourself is one of the greatest things we can do in this life. To the world, it shows that it’s okay to be your authentic self by showing off your natural crown. My business promotes natural beauty, self awareness, and patience. I enjoy helping others fall in love with themselves.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
I’d say that I’m most excited about being able to spend more time in creative spaces. I had to take a leap of faith to pursue a career completely different from what I went to school for. It was necessary, but it was not easy. Being able to see the good in every situation is how you overcome challenges. Being able to recognize a challenge as an opportunity to become better instead of having a negative perspective is extremely helpful when navigating entrepreneurship.
I’d want the world to know that my brand is love. My brand will be a household name.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
I’ll start by saying that I’m not an itinerary type of woman. If it were a week long trip, we’re just going to wake up and decide what we’re doing each day. Spontaneous fun is way more exciting than following a script. You’d definitely find us where the vibes are high, good music, good food, great energy.
One day we’re having a picnic in the park, the next we’re pitchers of mimosas in at brunch, the next we’re hiking, the next we’re getting matching tattoos. You never know what you’re going to get. I just know we’ll be laughing until we cry and our stomach hurts.
We know how to have a great time.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I’d like to dedicate this shoutout to my Mom and Dad. I’m so thankful for my upbringing, and they never missed a beat. They are the catalyst to my success.
