We had the good fortune of connecting with Victoria Antonelli and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Victoria, what matters most to you?
Empowerment matters the most to me. As a breathwork facilitator, I empower people to help themselves. I may be the guide inspiring change, but at the end of the day, the client is the one setting intentions, pushing themselves outside their comfort zone, and taking the aligned action that will lead to ultimate growth.
I live for seeing people succeed whether it’s friends, family, clients, strangers, or myself! I can’t tell you the amount of times I’ve cried listening to a podcast, reading a book, or hearing a story face to face about the ups and downs of someone’s journey that led them back to their Power. If I can be a part of that process by illuminating someone’s blindspots (we all have them), providing support, and guiding them toward their magic, I feel truly in my purpose.
If everyone lived in their purpose and truly connected to their calling, the world would be a different place. I don’t want to say “better” because I think perspective is everything and the world is already magical…but it would definitely be different.
Please tell us more about your work. We’d love to hear what sets you apart from others, what you are most proud of or excited about. How did you get to where you are today professionally. Was it easy? If not, how did you overcome the challenges? What are the lessons you’ve learned along the way. What do you want the world to know about you or your brand and story?
I am a certified breathwork facilitator and my business is called A Breath of Sage, LLC. It has been a little over a year since I launched my baby and I can’t believe how much I’ve grown! In this past year, I have learned a ton about owning a business, what NOT to do, and what work I need to do on myself to be a successful business owner living in her purpose.
One of the biggest takeaways from my first year as a business owner is focusing on myself and my offerings and TRUSTING that the rest will fall into place. The right people will be attracted to you and want to work with you. Cold DMing people, emailing people at random, etc. not only looks desperate, it also may bring in people who aren’t aligned with your message. Your perfect customer will work with you for YOU and they’ll value your offerings, because they’re aligned with what they are trying to achieve. The perfect customer won’t ask you to lower your price or give them a deal or complain about this or that. Just because you’re brand new, doesn’t mean you have to accept low level behavior (or put out desperate vibes) just to get SOMEONE to work with you.
Whenever I take aligned action (listening to an impulse to create a program or share a reel with certain information, etc.), I am rewarded by the universe. For example, I guide client(s) by speaking throughout the entire breathwork class / private session based off the downloads I’m receiving from Source (we all have the Power to do this). When I am in my ego and trying to force a solution and/or strictly follow a plan, and I miss or ignore intuitive nudges, I’m not only being a disservice to myself or others. And like I said in a previous question, we all have blindspots. I still work with coaches, therapists, healers, and I plan to do so as I continue to raise my vibration and income level.
What sets me apart? My personality and presence. People say they feel calm around me, On top of that, I enjoy listening. There’s always something for me to learn- I am forever a student. Before working with a breathwork client 1:1, I send our a survey to get to know them better, and dedicate time to asking questions and learning about their goals for the session. I am also open into jumping right into breathwork- everyone is different! I am also an entertainer, and I love incorporating humor when appropriate. I think it’s easy to take yourself too seriously, especially in the healing realm. Even though I’m fairly new to facilitating breathwork, I’ve practiced for almost a decade. I was luckily enough to live in Southern California for eight years and have my fair share of healing experiences that I incorporate into my sessions.
As far as offerings, I lead group classes, virtual and in-person, as well as privates. I also work with couples and small groups. My favorite offering right now is the 30 Day Mental Shift. Upon signing up, I send clients a survey to understand what they’d like to “shift” over the next month. From there I create 4 personalized meditations, prompts for Monday-Friday (each week has a theme), and schedule our 4 weekly 1:1 breathwork/exploration sessions that each last 90 to 120 minutes. I basically share every technique I’ve learned / implemented over the past decade that relates to your goals, and you’ll have lifetime access. This program is currently open and costs $999. I cap at 5 clients per month and there’s still a couple spots left for November.
Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I actually have some friends visiting in early November! – Atlanta Botanical Garden / Aquarium, eat at Ammazza Fourth Ward
– The High Museum, eat at South City Kitchen Midtown
– Marietta Square, eat at Taqueria Tsunami
– Ponce City Market / Belt Line, eat at either Lady Bird or Tasty China
– Georgia Bulldogs game- never been to Athens so can’t say where we’d eat
– Centennial Park, dessert at The Yard Milkshake Bar
– Kennesaw Mountain National Park, eat at Modena
