We had the good fortune of connecting with Vianca Mireya and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Vianca, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
I started my own business because I wanted to combine my creative passion with my business mindset. I grew up in the performing arts realm so when I started applying to colleges and learned that I could combine my passions for music and entertainment with my other passions of business and law, I was ecstatic. The degree programs in Music Business and Entertainment Law were perfect for me because I was able to still perform and learn music education while also learning the business and law side of the industry. Since I have a background in music performance, education, theory, and production, I can better relate to my clients and artists because I understand what they go through on both the musical side of things and the business side.

What should our readers know about your business?
I founded Vision Oasis Entertainment to serve as a one-stop shop for both mainstream and indie artists. Our main goal is to build and guide our artists in the right direction to maintain a strong and well-built foundation.

What sets my business apart from others is that we cater to the individual goals and visions of our artists. We operate both in-person and virtually so that our visionary artists can join our team no matter where they are and reach their full potential.

I’ve overcome many challenges to get to this point. From starting my business while also being dual enrolled in two college programs, to personal hurdles, this journey here has taught me to be resilient and hardworking to get to where I want to be. I’m overcoming my challenges by reminding myself of my goals, my plans, and how I want to execute them. I always remember to remind myself that no one can do the work but me and that it doesn’t happen overnight.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I would definitely have to take them to Lickety Split Southern Kitchen, The Flying Biscuit Cafe, and Skyline. Those are my top favorite places to visit.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I would like to shoutout my family, friends, mentors, and business partners who have always been there for me and have supported my journey from the beginning. I would also like to shoutout my team at 247 Live Culture for taking a chance on a young college student as an intern and guiding me to help improve and grow in the industry. I appreciate everyone who has ever shown me love and support.
