Meet Verina Zonise | Creator

We had the good fortune of connecting with Verina Zonise and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Verina, how has your perspective on work-life balance evolved over time?
In the beginning of starting my business I had no balance it was work 26/9. I was even dreaming about what to work on next so over time as I began to get burned out and things and people were not getting the attention they needed from me I had to have a shift. I began to set certain hours and days for work and stick to it. I think balance is very necessary for success as a person. What good is it to build and empire and have no one to share it with and your health too poor to enjoy it itself. It’s still a work in progress as it’s hard for me to turn off a passion when it feels like play not work.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
What sets me apart from others is my dedication to executing everything in the spirit of excellence. Im most excited about the vision of expanding my brand to an empire that will create generational wealth. The road to where I am today professionally had many different components. Many different positions career choices which at first glance seems like chaos and lack of focus. However it each job, career and lesson on the way all added to help me with my own business. You take each part and put together your puzzle. It has not been easy. Ive overcome the challenges by never giving up. You have to keep going. Giving up on your passion is not an option I dont think its even possible if its truly a passion, a calling. The Zo SkinTherapy brand is a beautiful story that gets juicier and juicer each chapter. My dedication to the busy and beautiful women of the world convicts me to continue offering solutions to our problems. After all darlin’ you deserve this.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I just love to eat so my itinerary is full of food! LOL
Whats a trip without brunch so everyday a new brunch spots Uncle Julio’s my absolute fave, Cafe Interrmezzo, True Food Kitchen, Copelands. Im not a huge drinker but any place with champagne and margaritas is a win for me. Stopping by a cigar cellar is a must. Some places we will check out includes Centennial park, Muss & Turners for the cute speakeasy in the back, you can always find me at a rooftop so Ponce City it is, I lot different things and Pin and Proper is an interesting place to hang , eat and have a good time. The most exciting place with a plethora of interesting people to meet is at Clairmont Lounge. They have awesome drinks too!

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
