We had the good fortune of connecting with Venilla Barnes and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Venilla, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
In 2017, I began thinking about starting my own outpatient therapy clinic. Being a physical therapist for 15 years made it easy to decide what business I wanted to provide people. I love helping people improve their quality of life.
In addition, I always wanted that financial freedom and flexibility to control how I provided my services to patients. Allowing me the ability to provide an environment where patients can turly get one on one interaction with a licensed physical therapist.
What should our readers know about your business?
Provision Physical Therapy is an outpatient physical therapy clinic located in Fayetteville, GA. Provision Physical Therapy is a company that provides one on one physical therapy care to each patient. A licensed physical therapist ensures each patient is treated individually and given goals they can achieve. Specializing in orthopedics, working conditioning, motor vehicle injuries, women’s health, dry needling, and sport injuries.
Perseverance and my passion as a physical therapist allowed me to be where I am. The path was not easy but worth it. Challenges that I face with being a mom, wife, and entrepreneur are tough. However, I learned how to manage my time and keep business separate from personal. My faith and putting God first also drives and strengthen me through challenges I face.
Dr. Venilla Barnes is known for being passionate, caring, and knowledgeable about her work. Making sure each patient’s experience with Provision Physical Therapy will be lasting in improving their quality of life.
The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
Corey Barnes my husband who inspired and motivated me to follow my dreams and always do me. Never letting me give up when times got hard. He also stepped up to help our girls when I was busy at work.
My mom Emma Wiggins is another person that I would like to recognize. Her unconditional love and support for me growing up helped mold me into the woman I am. Her desire and willingness to help people influenced me to follow my dream of becoming a physical therapist.
