We had the good fortune of connecting with Vanessa Hardiman and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Vanessa, what do you attribute your success to?
I believe that one of our missions while here on Earth is to make a difference. This entails using our education, skills, and gifting to assist others. Being your authentic self goes a long way in building trust and eventually business.  I have found that people do business with individuals and organizations that they trust.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
I am the founder of a consulting business titled Business Strategies and Solutions, LLC. I leverage my background, training, and education to empower both new and existing businesses to thrive and grow. As a client-centered and results-driven agency, we specialize in providing clarity and effective strategies to propel businesses to the next level. Some of the things that set us apart from other businesses is that we believe in a “partnership approach” with our clients so clients can have solutions that work for where they are in the business cycle.  Some clients just need to have a consultation, some are looking for introductions to others that can help them such as virtual assistants that are reliable and others maybe interested in exiting their business and want to find individuals to serve as apprentices or individuals interested in purchasing their business.

We offer a seamless blend of progressive thinking with revolutionary action, crafting bottom-line solutions that maximize business potential and drive organizational growth. We work with budding entrepreneurs, corporations, or a non-profit organization, we’re here to help them elevate and scale into brands that offer world-class solutions.

But our services don’t stop there. We understand that individuals seeking career transitions also need support. That’s why we offer consultation and research to assist in strategic planning for those looking to explore new career paths. Whether it’s a college student or a corporate professional interested in entrepreneurship, our services are tailored to meet their unique needs and aspirations.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
I love taking individuals to the various parks and other outside venues we have to offer in Georgia.

Restaurants, and eateries with outside patios and upper decks are a must so the Buckhead and Midtown areas are high on my list.

I would also take them to City Winery and other venues to see and listen to amazing local and national artists.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
My parents were influential in my early upbringing specifically my mother ( Alma Johnson), my grandmother (Frances Prather Coleman), and my godmother (Audrey Frazier). They instilled a sense of style, ethics, and discipline that is evident in the way I structure my business today.

I also am a strong believer in being and having mentors. My mentors have been used for both my professional and personal life. They have provided advice assistance and moral support that has contributed immensely to my life and success.

I saw a quote that said “No one makes it to the top alone” and that we all no matter how successful need others to play a role in our lives, careers, and businesses.
