We had the good fortune of connecting with Valentina Ramirez and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Valentina, what do you attribute your success to?
The most important factor behind my success with Valen Creative has been discipline. Building a brand from the ground up takes a daily commitment, especially in the beginning when you have no clients, no established credibility, and very few people who even know your name. Discipline pushes me to show up every day, even when results are slow, and to keep believing in the vision when only family and close friends are the ones cheering you on. By showing up consistently, over time, you start to see your brand grow, gain trust, and eventually become profitable. This journey has taught me that true success lies in the quiet work you put in when no one’s watching.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
My work is about creating visual identities that feel authentic and meaningful for my clients and their audiences. What sets Valen Creative apart is a blend of strategy and empathy. I’m self-taught in design, and this journey has helped me connect deeply with entrepreneurs and business owners who are also building from the ground up. I know what it’s like to break down complex concepts into simple ideas that resonate, and I love guiding my clients through understanding branding in a way that’s accessible and impactful.

My story is also shaped by my background—I came to the U.S. from Venezuela at 23, alone and without family. This experience has made me resilient and brave, constantly pushing myself to grow and succeed despite the challenges. Building Valen Creative was far from easy, but every challenge taught me the importance of patience, consistency, and believing in my vision even when results weren’t immediate.

I want people to know that Valen Creative isn’t just about design; it’s about empowering other entrepreneurs to connect meaningfully with their audiences through a unique visual story. I’m proud to be part of my clients’ journeys, helping them stand out with branding that reflects their passion and hard work.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
If my best friend were visiting, I’d love to show them my favorite spots in and around Atlanta, places I’ve come to enjoy since living here. Here’s what our week might look like:

I’d start with a peaceful day at the Atlanta Botanical Garden and Piedmont Park—both iconic spots that capture Atlanta’s natural beauty. Piedmont Park is a must-see, offering amazing views of the city and a perfect spot for a picnic or just relaxing.

The next day, I’d take my friend to The Battery for a Braves game! There’s nothing quite like the energy at a live game, and while we’re there, we’d grab some pizza at Antico Pizzeria, one of my favorite places for a delicious, authentic slice.

On day three, we’d explore Ponce City Market and the Atlanta BeltLine. Ponce City Market is an inspiring place, full of creative energy, unique shops, and incredible food stalls with flavors from around the world. We’d try some ice cream, grab a drink, and just soak in the lively atmosphere.

Next, we’d spend a day downtown, starting with The World of Coca-Cola and a visit to the Georgia Aquarium, one of the largest aquariums in the U.S. Afterward, I’d introduce my friend to the MARTA—a fun and classic Atlanta experience! For dinner, we’d enjoy some Spanish paella at Bulla Gastrobar nearby.

To mix things up, we’d go on a day trip to Anna Ruby Falls for some hiking. Georgia’s mix of urban energy and beautiful green spaces is something I love, and the falls offer a stunning backdrop for a peaceful day in nature.

For our final day, I’d take my friend to the Avalon Mall for a relaxed shopping day. Avalon is the perfect place to stroll, check out some shops, and enjoy a final meal or dessert together before they head home.

Atlanta has so much to offer, and this itinerary captures the unique mix of culture, nature, and good food that makes this city special!

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
Without a doubt, my boyfriend deserves a huge shoutout. He believed in me and in Valen Creative even before I did. From the beginning, he’s been my constant support, always encouraging me to trust in my talent and to take action even when fear tries to hold me back. I’m incredibly grateful that he saw my potential and never stopped pushing me to pursue this path. His belief in me has been a foundation for everything I’ve built, and I truly wouldn’t be where I am today without his encouragement.
