Meet Tyric Bacon: Content Creator/ Entrepreneur

We had the good fortune of connecting with Tyric Bacon and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Tyric, what’s your definition for success?
I used to define success based off how much money I was making or how large my following on social media was. Success, for me, is now defined by my ability to bring my creative ideas into reality. As long as I’m able to have a vision for myself and then actually manifest it into my reality, I’m successful.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
I’m always looking for ways to challenge myself in anything that I do. This is especially true when it comes to my creative projects & my business. My thought process is always “ok how can I take this thing and make it my own, how can I add a piece of myself into this.” The most recent example of this is the official app that I launched for my business, Horoscope Hub, earlier in May. I’m super happy to see that it’s doing well and that people are responding to it in a positive way. When I think about all that I’ve accomplished so far, I also think about what it took to get here. The answer is patience, consistency, and faith. It wasn’t/isn’t always easy. There were days where I doubted my progress, days where I doubted if what I was doing was actually making a difference. There were times where I wanted to quit, where I wanted to just throw in the towel. I am so glad I didn’t. I think it’s important for anyone with a dream to know that it’s not always going to be easy. There will be days where you feel stagnant, like you aren’t moving. Just remember to keep your head held high, focus on that vision you have and know that you aren’t walking this path alone. If it’s one message I want to send to people, it’s that you truly can accomplish whatever goal/dream you have for yourself. You just have to believe.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
It’s so crazy because I used to be such a homebody but that’s definitely changing. If we’re talking about shopping, we have to go to either Lenox or Phipps plaza in Atlanta. If you’re looking for something super fun and exciting to do then we have to go to iFly, it’s in Atlanta to. It’s this huge indoor skydiving arena and I’m telling you it’s a whole experience! There’s also this place in Snellville called UrbanAir. They have everything; go-karts, rock climbing, indoor zip lining, etc. When it comes to food, there’s so many hidden gems in Atlanta I can’t even begin to name them. Two restaurants that have a very nice atmosphere are Dantanna’s and Capital Grille. If you’re looking for more of a chill vibe, There are also a lot of art galleries and museums splintered around. One thing I think people forget is that Atlanta also has such beautiful scenery when it comes to nature. A nice little walk in one of the parks followed by a picnic on the grass watching the sunset over the city = heaven. The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I first want to thank God for everything. Not just for the accomplishments and opportunities that I’ve experienced but also for all the healing and growth that he’s put into my life. I also want to thank my family. We always make sure to encourage and uplift one another and their support truly means the world to me. I wouldn’t be here without either of these things.
