We had the good fortune of connecting with Tyrell Clarke and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Tyrell, do you have a favorite quote or affirmation?
I do have a favorite quote/scripture that I remind myself of regularly: “To whom much is given, much is required.” (Luke12:48) Keeping in mind that the gifts and skills that I possess are not just for me but for the greater good, it was only right that I came to the realization that allowing my own thoughts and doubts to consume me was prolonging the sharing of my abilities to those who was in need of them for their own purpose fulfillment. So, it was necessary that I got out of my own way and conquered the notion of Paralysis by Over Analysis. This concept highlights how one’s forward motion and decision-making can become “paralyzed” due to over analysis, or overthinking. What Paralysis by Over Analysis has shown me is the importance of not getting stuck in the thought process because that could lead to me never fully unlocking my highest potential. What I also like about this concept is that it also showed me the areas in my life where I was, holding myself back. It is a way of self development and growth. I personally feel like people, mostly subconsciously, use the analysis portion of decision making as a way to avoid making decisions. I think it is probably due to fear of failure, but nonetheless there is almost a feeling of safety in the “thinking” stage, and it is easy to get stuck there.
Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
TRENDS Studios is a Production Empire coming out of Atlanta. I’d say what sets me apart from others is doing more than the average or doing more than just enough to get by. I don’t like to settle and I am always looking for ways to be better. Business-wise I am where I am today due to time, dedication, and support from my peers and loved ones. Recently, I find myself reminding myself that I may not be where I want to be but that doesn’t mean I will never get there. Faith, Consistency, and Hard Work are the values that I have learned are necessary to overcome challenges. It has not been an easy road. There have been so many times where I questioned myself, wondering if I am good enough. You know the regular moments of self-doubt that majority, if not all, entrepreneurs or content creators experience. I’ve gotten to a point where I use them as moments to remind myself that I have gotten comfortable and that it is time to strive for higher levels in both my skill and the company. TRENDS Studios is consistently evolving, and I invite you to tap in and enjoy the journey!
Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
2020 has been something else and I haven’t really been out lately, but some of my favorite places to go: Outdoor Hangouts: Roswell Mills, and Local Parks. Eat & Drink: Nacho Daddy (Duluth), and Big Sky Buckhead. Evening/Night Life: Encore Lounge, and Gold Room.Visit: Fl4sh Funnels, and Great Smoke.
Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
Lucas Frink CEO & Founder, The Boss Exponent I want to give a shoutout to Lucas Frink. Lucas and I were having a conversation when he introduced to me the concept of Paralysis by Over Analysis. Im forever grateful to have a friend in Lucas.
