We had the good fortune of connecting with Tyler Reid and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Tyler, is there something that you feel is most responsible for your success?
I believe the most important factor behind the success of Eminent Events is the belief in my vision to display love in a special way with every client I am blessed to work with. Although entrepreneurship may not be for everyone, I was not one to think it was for me until I had an epiphany that the wedding and event planning industry is where I belong. Since then, I’ve began to utilize my craft in taking the right steps needed to be the best planner I can be for all of my Eminent Family (referred to as clients). I’ve learned that not many people in this world will see your vision until it has come to fruition and to put your vision, where your heart is. You’ve got to be all in and it will show through your actions.
Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
Eminent Events is different from any other planning enterprise by the way we treat our clients. We are huge on relationships and pride ourselves on treating our clients like family. Eminent Events is a reflection of myself and the style I have for client’s weddings and events. Rather I work on a branding event, a wedding, or an event, I make it my mission to go above and beyond in making you feel like a guest at your event. Although this road to where I am professionally was not easy, I know that it takes a true leader to press through adversities and issues that may arise, I believe it’s how you PIVOT and make things happen. I want the world to know if you can dream it, you can be it. I am constantly reminded that work I am doing can’t be fabricated, it’s got to be in you. If it truly is in you, you can’t fake the funk. People will see the love you have for your brand as your business will speak for itself.
Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Undoubtedly, we’d have an amazing time… Some of the places we’d eat at would be: -Slutty Vegan -5 Church -Ms. Icey’s Kitchen & Bar We’d even grab a drink from: -Cirque Daiquiri Bar & Grill -Atlantis We’d visit: -Georgia Aquarium -Trap Music Museum -Civil Rights Museum We’d hang out at: Oak Atlanta Suite Lounge Encore Peter’s Street I think we could pack these fun things into a week-long visit.
Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
First, I’d like to thank each vendor I’ve had the pleasure of working with thus far. I have been blessed to work amongst some really notable vendors and planners along my way. None of this would be possible without the mentors I have within the industry Jan Hill and Brian Green. They have both been instrumental in the knowledge, experience, and path that I have embarked on and couldn’t thank them enough. Additionally, my family and friends have played a huge role in some form of advertising which had led to much success of my brand as well.
