Meet Tyler Jarvis | Pop Singer-Songwriter & Artist

We had the good fortune of connecting with Tyler Jarvis and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Tyler, what role has risk played in your life or career?
Risk has a strange connotation to it. Usually, when you say the word “risk” it implies something dangerous or unsafe. There’s definitely elements of truth to that, but I don’t know if you can get anywhere you want to, in life, without some risk. Embracing risk is something that is necessary whenever wanting to do anything that is outside your current realm of understanding. I’ve learned to embrace risk, and I daily try to recognize how to navigate positive risk and negative risk in my life and career as an artist.
Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
I’m Tyler Jarvis and I’m a Pop Singer-Songwriter. Over my 26 years of living, I’ve learned and continue learning, how beautiful my life is, but I didn’t always think of it that way. I had a very “grass is greener over there” mentality. Over the past few years, I’ve learned that the grass is greener where you water it. I want to invite everyone into recognizing how beautiful their lives are, and that it’s the daily recognition that allows you to see that. Sometimes, our lives don’t feel beautiful because there’s hardship and trials. I’ve learned that those should be embraced as well. When we embrace even the hard times, that’s when we see how far we’ve truly come. As a pretty normal kid, growing up in pretty normal mid-west Ohio, I want to invite everyone to see how beautiful and unique their individual story is and to really recognize how far they’ve come.
Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
If I had a friend coming into town, that had never been to Atlanta, I would make sure and take them to eat at Krog Street Market, Ponce City Market, Monday Night brewing for some drinks, maybe little trouble as well. I would make sure and show them the battery and hang out there for awhile. I would also take them to victory sandwich, and to Perc for some coffee.
Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
My parents. No one, in my life, has encouraged me more than them to chase my dreams. Whether in affirmation, time, finances, and wisdom they’ve been the backbone of me chasing my dreams.
