Meet Tyler Hall | Founder of Balloon Elite Mentor & Community Activist

We had the good fortune of connecting with Tyler Hall and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Tyler, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
It was Gods plan, also with combination of a few other things. My passion for the game of basketball always kept me around the game by either officiating, playing, or spectating. One day, while Kevin Metoyer and I officiated together and we watched children be wrongfully taught the game of basketball. We then realized we’re on the wrong side of the playing field and decided that we would start an AAU program together. Later that week Kevin was diagnosed with cancer and I was left to start Balloon Elite by myself.
I wanted to create something that symbolized everything I’ve been through with the game of basketball. Balloon immediately came to my brain, because once you let go of a Balloon it continues to rise and rise.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
Balloon Elite, is built to teach real life essentials through the game of basketball. Understanding, if I don’t do my job at work, my employer will hire someone else to efficiently do the job greater than or equal to me. There are lessons that we can teach through the game of basketball that apply to everyday life.
BASKETBALL IS A CARROT, it is a popular sport children are willing to learn, which is great. I can then build a relationship and trust with families of children to best serve them as a leader by offering different resources and outlets to families as needed.
By Believing in yourself you start to Achieve your goals, to one day Live Life Outstanding and buy the fancy things you want in life but we have to continue to Overcome Negativity because it’s knocking at everyone’s door.
It was hard getting to where I am now today. It may have cost me some hair laugh out loud but that’s all part of the success. It took a lot of sleepless nights, doing paperwork, putting together strategies and plans; I had to first believe in myself before anyone else could.
Without great failure there is no great success, with mediocre failure you get mediocre success. Strive for the highest ceiling you feel capable to reach, we all bump our head but eventually it heals.
Elite, Eventually Love Ignites True Energy! Meaning who wants to work a job that is dreadful or in an industry we don’t truly have a passion for. The love you have for anything you do in life will eventually show by the energy you put into it, now we are Elite!

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I would like to give a big shout out to Kevin Metoyer! I miss you brother, without our talk and you personally motivating me to continue our dream through our community; I don’t believe my conversation with Mya Joe would’ve stuck. I forever got her and will be in her corner.
Monty Cannon was a big influence on me seeing I grew up wanting to play for the Omaha Rebels. Unfortunately I was not able to but later in life Monty became the mentor I sought out in my youth days. Thank you for always saying that’s good but not good enough, I did it already! It always keeps me hungry and grind for more.
Derrick Strong where do I start. If you don’t know us you’d think we don’t like one another but you quickly come to realize if your biggest critic isn’t your family then who is? Derrick has always been that brother to frustrate you simply to open your eyes wide to the picture and I respect you a ton for that. Thank you for always telling me what I don’t want to hear.
