We had the good fortune of connecting with Tylah Mack and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Tylah, what’s the most important thing you’ve done for your children?
The most important impact to have for a child is to actually be available, not only physically available but mentally. All too often (especially my generation) have had moments where we give kids the tablet or a phone and allow social media to raise our children. Then the children grow up to either not have respect, understanding and / or life skills. The greatest impact is knowledge, showing children the tools to be better than us one day, keeping them on the right path of success in hopes that they listen. We all want our legacy to be better than us & prosper but it starts WITH US.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
Being a fashion designer in a world full of “ fashion designers “ is definitely challenging because you have what we like to call ‘ fast fashion ‘. Fast fashion makes it seemingly difficult for those that create art from scratch, & by art I mean clothes. I believe my level of expertise & drive for what I love to do sets me apart from others that does the same or similar. Now a days, the market is so saturated, the consumers are left to believe that fast fashion is all that’s left. The want or need for money has mistakenly made its way to a production of low quality & high demand. I believe that my brand Lovlé Designs, LLC brings a luxurious taste to the industry hence forth setting me apart by not only the artistic aspect, but the skill aspect as well. My most proud moments from my creativity came from the accolades that have accomplished this past year. Being on the covers of magazines, having my designs on New York’s Refinery29 platform & more has given me something to look forward to in the upcoming chapter of my life. Where I am today, is none other than a journey you have to see through. Learning & listening plays a major role in professionalism, if you aren’t willing to take in knowledge from the wise and listen, it’ll be very difficult for your upbringing. It has not been easy, I am still overcoming challenges I never thought I would face in my lifetime, however, the most cliche thing to say is never give up, but it’s about having faith that your purpose is going to bless your life in the most amazing way one day! I’ve learned a few lessons along the way but the one that sticks out the most is to not bring people with you to a purposeful journey they no longer have the altitude for. As bad as you may want your relationship to thrive in your winning season, sometimes it’s best to let it go so you can reach higher altitudes. Some people aren’t meant to go to the level you are, sometimes they are just there to show you what it’s like when you don’t level up. I want the world to know that Lovlé Designs, LLC is a couture brand who delivers nothing but excellence and happiness. There’s a lot of positivity handcrafted in each design, a lot of love. In all my years of being a fashion designer, I haven’t had a client that put on a design and didn’t love it, each client has always had the biggest smile while wearing the pieces they dreamt would come to life, & im proud to say that I have done that, put smiles of faces for a lifetime.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
That’s a great question, the city is filled with fun and lots of things to explore. I’d have to say the first place would be Taco Mac. Taco Mac is by far my go to restaurant for a fun energetic and chill vibe. For an experience at a restaurant, I’d have to say The sugar Factory, it’s family oriented, great scenery & the food is exquisite. I’d visit the Aquarium for sure just to take the edge off, & id hangout at a jazz bar, The Main Event & Top Golf.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
All of my success has come from the higher power. Giving thanks to God first & thanking the group of people who has supported my business ideas and journey along the way to my most recent accomplishments. I couldn’t have done it without the words of encouragement, the push when I didn’t feel I could & the visual motivation of where I can be if I keep going… Thank you all !
