We had the good fortune of connecting with Tye Dennis and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Tye, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
I am an avid call of duty player and while playing the game I’m just thinking to myself I love its militant theme. I love the order and consistency of the game. I love the different capsules dropped with uniquely designed skins and items. I love how serious it’s taken even though it’s voluntary; and I thought of how beautifully that meshed with my approach to creativity and fashion. I have a grunge & militant, yet alluring style. I routinely scavenge stores and thrift for unique items. I love to curate collections centered around a theme. I search for that one thing a little (or a lot) longer. I put Oscar worthy thought and effort into all aspects of my fashion and art; and I have the creativity to take the game to the next level. So when creating INVRTORY, my goal was to incorporate those aspects of gaming into my brand. Releasing a randomly curated supply of garments, footwear, art, and materials every other week; I aimed to bring that fun and discovery back to fashion while presenting it in a way that’s strategic, consistent, and engaging. INVRTORY also features Tactic, a creative services support system for ventures. I provide web design, consulting, ghostwriting, styling, personal shopping, songwriting & more. INVRTORY is as limitless as creativity is. The objective is to provide out of the box items and aid in producing anything out of the ordinary for those who are creating the extraordinary.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
My creative ability is Intrinsic and Adaptive. I’m able to envision and execute visions in a way that’s indescribable. A lot of people refer to me as a method maker. I know how to make it happen, whatever “it” happens to be. I wanted to incorporate that into a business where I could apply my creativity to others business ventures and expand them to new artistic horizons. That’s when I got the idea of INVRTORY. A creative warehouse capable of providing out of the box items and aiding in producing anything out of the ordinary for those who are creating the extraordinary.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
God for giving the creative ability Pamela Sutton- For jumping on any idea bandwagon I’ve brought her and always standing with me
Kyle Favors- For being my impromptu photographer, never charging me, and supporting every creative thing I attempt
