Meet Trudean Haye

We had the good fortune of connecting with Trudean Haye and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Trudean, what role has risk played in your life or career?
Risk-taking is integral to personal and professional growth, often serving as a catalyst for innovation and transformation. In my life and career, embracing risks has been essential to breaking new ground and achieving meaningful milestones.
I perceive risk as an opportunity rather than a threat, a necessary step toward realizing one’s full potential. It involves venturing into the unknown, but with careful consideration and strategic planning, the potential rewards often outweigh the uncertainties. Each risk taken is a learning experience, providing valuable insights and fostering resilience.
In my career, taking calculated risks has been pivotal. Founding The ITAVFoundation, for instance, required stepping out of my comfort zone, facing financial uncertainties, and navigating uncharted territories in advocacy. However, the impact made on marginalized communities and the personal growth I experienced were profound and rewarding.
Risk-taking has also played a crucial role in my creative and entrepreneurial pursuits. Whether it’s launching new projects, exploring different mediums, or expanding my ventures, each risk has contributed to my versatility and success. It has allowed me to push boundaries, innovate, and stay dynamic in an ever-evolving landscape.
Ultimately, risk-taking has shaped my journey, enabling me to inspire and empower others by demonstrating that great achievements often lie on the other side of fear.
Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
My business, Trudean Haye Company, is a creative brand agency where I thrive on bringing visions to life through strategic branding and project management. What sets me apart is my dedication to weaving creativity with purpose. I’m not just about aesthetics; I’m about crafting narratives that resonate and drive meaningful impact.
I’m incredibly proud of how far I’ve come and the projects I’ve undertaken. Each client collaboration has been an opportunity to innovate and inspire, whether through rebranding efforts that breathe new life into established brands or launching campaigns that ignite conversations.
The road to where I am today hasn’t been without its challenges. Building a business from the ground up is never easy, but every obstacle has been a lesson in resilience and determination. I’ve learned to embrace setbacks as opportunities for growth, to listen to feedback with an open mind, and to stay true to my values even in the face of adversity.
What I want the world to know about Trudean Haye Company is that I’m not just here to create beautiful designs or campaigns; I’m here to make a difference. My story is one of passion, perseverance, and a commitment to excellence. I believe in the power of creativity to drive positive change, and I’m excited to continue pushing boundaries and exceeding expectations.
Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
If my best friend came to Philly for a week, we’d start by chilling at Rittenhouse Square catching Pokémon. Lol and grabbing coffee at La Colombe. We’d check out Independence National Historical Park to see the Liberty Bell and Independence Hall, then grab lunch at Reading Terminal Market. We’d hit up the Philadelphia Museum of Art or the Academy of Natural Sciences.
We’d go on a food adventure at the Italian Market and try different ramen spots—I love Nom Nom Ramen in Rittenhouse Square. In neighborhoods like Fishtown and Northern Liberties, we’d see cool street art, eat at places like Suraya, and catch live music at The City Winery.
We would visit Vera Doyle in Mt Airy. We’d brunch at Green Eggs Café no matter how long the wait is because the food is worth it and then hit up the dance scene at Woody’s in the Gayborhood and enjoy happy hour at local spots.
It’d be a packed week of great food, and exploring and then going to the gym to work because all we did was eat everywhere we went. Philly is dope and there’s so much you can get into. It’s all about what your vibe is.
