Meet Tru Da Don | CEO YSi Bailey ‘Money Talk’ Empire” Records”

We had the good fortune of connecting with Tru Da Don and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Tru Da Don, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
How can I have a name that will describe who I am but also the empire that I made. I look at things in my way; main thing was to have a name differentiate from other record labels. I researched names to make sure nobody had it so I wouldn’t have to look at lawsuit. I thought and prayed on next steps to see clearer picture of the business name; next thing I know I came up with the business name less than 72hrs. Once I went to the studio, my first engineer Phil502 put me on game about BMI registration and lot other great ways start my own business. Since then, it was up and running. “YSi,” (You See it), here we go again with me doing what I want to do. Essentially, I rather just show actions than speak words that people can see it cause they always watching rather they admit it or not. You See it, Bailey ‘Money Talk’ Empire will forever be here and soon in your location.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
I don’t rush projects, look into making one hit wonder, and anything else to me, that’s not my style. I just continue to be myself and know my blessings will rise one day. I got to where I am today by keeping my dreams alive and having faith that all will come together. It’s never easy; that’s what I love more about it because I overcame the challenge and learned a lot of lessons down the way which made me realize I have to challenge myself more than just a recording artist / writer. I have to do more and seek more because it’s always more to something than what’s in front of me. I want the world to know I’m just me and I move in silence. Nothing will change that. Can’t nothing get in my way because I am the creator of all.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Las Vegas to Hell’s Kitchen restaurant and drive down to Hollywood, CA.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
My family, they always kept me sane and made sure I knew my mathematics day by day before going out embarrassing the family name. Holding myself to high standard like a God wasn’t made overnight. I became this as little baby boy. I am the baby in my family, so I had no choice but to grow up and roc out. The support, guidance, power, unconditional love and lot more help me get to where I am today including Mported, Money Team, and few other’s too; the list of names goes on, but they definitely know who they are because they know without them, none of this would be possible.
