We had the good fortune of connecting with Tron Sagas and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Tron, what led you to pursuing a creative path professionally?
Peace of mind and clarity is what I aspire for throughout my life. Being a creative allows me to connect with different walks of life and learn from unique perspectives. Of course, in anything you are just starting will run the risk of not making a true profit. Fortunately for me I aspire for more of a humanitarian effort than anything. Pursing a career as a creative has aligned my ideals and given me the opportunity to complete life goals, create ideals and opportunities on my own terms.
Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
My story entails a journey into music that was dormant with me studying music theory and composition while being a instrumentalist through out grade school. As I came into my own and found hip hop i blended the sound with the theory. It wasn’t until I attended Morehouse college that I realized I found my calling. I learned many ways to navigate through life and how to conduct business from losing/missing opportunities. I overcame challenges with hindsight, foresight and practicality. Ultimately, the best thing I learned was to always bet on yourself. When it’s all said and done I want the world to know that brand 93 is Supreme.
If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Hmm… If i had folks coming to visiting Atlanta it definitely would be lively regardless. Depending on the occasion i would probably take them to then scenic venues they may be interested in viewing along with other spots throughout the perimeter especially the AUC. Given the current season – I would take them to get some ramen from KinoNoTori or Ginya Izakaya, get some LPW from American Deli or one of the other staples (IYKYK), grab some drinks from Little Spirit, hang out at the studio, get brunch at a recommendation by @officialbrunchqueen. Overall, I am more a go with the flow type of person but if we can plan in advance then i’d make sure their time here is a blast.
Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I want to dedicate my shoutout to my parents and my brother for never losing faith. To my contemporaries and the ones tuning in. Much love and respect always.
