Hi Trickeon, we’d love to start by asking you about lessons learned. Is there a lesson you can share with us?
The most important lesson I’ve learned while in business is to be patient. Sometimes I have days where I feel down like I haven’t accomplished enough. Then I think about how much I’ve done in so little time. How many celebrities I’ve worked with in under a year. How many great opportunities have came my way in just a little under a year, Being patient has taught me the right opportunities will come when I am ready. Like the saying goes “In due time” when the time is due, I will be ready.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
My style of art is eyelash extensions. My brand is THC Lash Extensions. Which stands for Tricks High Class Lash Extensions. No, my products and brand DO NOT contain any thc, however my brand gives you a high class look. My name is Trick and my target audience is high class girls. Women that like to keep themselves together not just celebrities. Any women who likes to dress up daily ( clothes, hair, nails, lashes, makeup). What sets me apart is my style of packaging. I have lash strips that are packaged as if they came of out a dispensary. I also have lash products for other lash techs as well. I feel like lashes are a necessity just as hair, nails, and makeup. Lashes don’t always have to be big and dramatic. Even just a little enhancement will create a whole new look. The road to success is never easy. Do you have the ambition in you to keep going? Never give up. Be patient. Put in work. Set yourself apart. Network. I think the world should know my brand will soon be world wide. Stay tuned!

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Being that I don’t go out much. I wouldn’t be much friend to a friend visiting town. When I go out it’s to network. I say things like “Let’s go here and pass out business cards.” rather then “I heard it’s gone be lit tonight.” I go out pass out business cards, promo lashes, and back out the door.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
There’s a person that deserves a lot of credit that I feel deserves such. And that’s God. Each and every time I feel down or feel that I’m not doing good enough, something great happens. Whether it’s a new opportunity, a new client that I’ve been wanting to work with, or just more booked appointments all together.
