We had the good fortune of connecting with Treyvian Durr and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Treyvian, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
My thought process when starting Durr Capital Group was focusing on become one of the biggest African American developers due to the lack of African american developers. I made it my mission to begin changing the status quo when attending Developer school.

What should our readers know about your business?
We are a business that wants to educate and help our community. The village is built from the ground up with the resources that are nearest to you. We all don’t have the same resources but we want to help bridge that gap with access into commercial real estate.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Charlotte is one of the cities with the best food & drinks. if i had a friend come in town we would do food and drinks at Aura rooftop for great views of the city. definitely check out a hornets game & have dinner one night at Fumee. I enjoy south park & the walkable areas they have, so make sure to have drinks in south park as well.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
Definitely want to shout out my Grandmother. She has invested more in me than I could ever repay for her. Behind every strong black man some strong black woman built him up.
