We had the good fortune of connecting with Trevone Perry and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Trevone, we’d love to hear about how you approach risk and risk-taking.
No risk no reward! It’s the unknown things that leads us to our greatest destiny. If I wouldn’t have taken the risk to start. I wouldn’t know success today.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
I enjoy making great Gospel music that brings joy and encouragement to others. I’m uniquely and unapologetically me. I’m most proud of when God is pleased with me. A lot of hard work and dedication. An No it wasn’t easy! I had to stay the course through many hard trials, disappointments and people walking away. That I’m as authentic as they come and the brand speaks for itself. I want people to live in purpose for the purpose God has over their lives.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I love Carmine’s Italian food. I love water and watching movies in 4DX. I enjoy Broadway shows and hanging out with my best friends.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
First I would like to Shoutout God. Without him none of this would be possible. Also my Team, TeamDP, Mangers, and Assistants who help my world go around.
