We had the good fortune of connecting with Tre & Lanell Dozier and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Tre & Lanell, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
A unique way to shed light on the glory of God. We want to minister to people all around the world through faith-based apparel. One day Lanell & I were talking about revelation and insight that we had received from God. I was listening to a song that really touched my life. At the time we were going through a crisis, (or so we thought), and God took me to Luke 8:48 where there was the woman with the issue of blood. Here Jesus says, “…Daughter, your faith has made you well; go in peace”. Instantly we were able to take solace in knowing that everything we had been concerned about would be handled. As long as we trusted God and didn’t allow our faith to waiver, God would always be there, even in the midst of what we perceived to be a storm. We realized that our deliverance would not come by anything we’d done, but “It’s A God Thang!” Have your ever asked yourself… How did I bounce back? How did I survive that tragedy? How did I not lose my mind? How did I get healed? HOW DID I MAKE IT? IT’S A GOD THANG!

What should our readers know about your business?
IAGT LLC is a Faith-Based Apparel. We specialize in sharing the wondrous work of our creator. We feel that we have a message that resonates with everyone in a unique way and we want the world to know about it. We are known for our catchy slogans such as #ItsAGodThang, #IssaGodThang and #YourTESTIMONYTold. The road was definitely not easy! There were some learning curves here and there, but we thank God we have an amazing team (Jermaunte Lamar and Melanted Millennials) who help guide us with his experience. The biggest struggle we encountered was just learning the system and all the work that goes on behind the scenes when starting a brand-new business. It seems easy but you have to remember that in order to be successful, you have to have the right people in the right place. From production of the merchandise to the way you market, and even the mailing system. Everything is a learning process and you will bump your head, but it’s never a negative but an opportunity to learn. When people wear our merchandise, we want them to feel the words on the shirt and for people to be able to convey the message even in passing. Our merch is a simple way of letting your testimony be told and can help encourage someone along the way. What sets us apart is our authenticity and transparency. When we see our customers rocking their merch, it brings great joy because all of our IAGT family are walking testimonies, and to see them smile makes us smile. At that moment, we knew that we have something special.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
