We had the good fortune of connecting with Travon Williams and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Travon, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
Driving down Sunset Blvd I was always impressed with the big amazing billboards! So my fiance is a model and also co founder of global billboards Ashley Henderson aka Ashley Ca$h is a model,so I came up with the idea to out her on a billboard while she was on a photoshoot in NYC, The expression and surprise on her face was priceless. That started it for me,I linked up with a ad company and it’s been great !

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
I was raised in South Central LA,we where told we wouldn’t live to see 21 now I’m 40 ,I’m a accomplished business owner of Mistro Global a marketing firm in Beverly Hills California. Published Author of a best seller JUSTIFIED ANGER. Shout out to my publisher Felicia Green! Also have the first black owned car rental company in Las Vegas, EZEE KEYS and last but not least Global Billboards!

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Definitely have to go to Rosco’s chicken and waffles. Take them to Inglewood to see the amazing SoFi stadium. Take cruise down Crenshaw Blvd and show them the great Nipsey Hussle memorial,then grab a Fat Burger. Then too Hollywood to BOA STEAK house on sunset. Then cruise Sunset through Beverly Hills and check out the Amazing homes. Venice beach and Santa Monica for the great beach and boardwalk experience. It’s so much to do in Los Angeles a week wouldn’t be long enough.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
My wonderful other half ,when I lost it all she didn’t give up on me! My mother Pastor Teka always encouraged me to chase my dreams until they come true! And my 2 sons Lil Chris and Justice are my main motivation!
