We had the good fortune of connecting with Travis Grace and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Travis, other than deciding to work for yourself, what else do you think played a pivotal role in your story?
The single most important decision made by me was reaching back to help artist/people who was less fortunate, knowing that certain artist would never get a fair chance to demonstrate their gifts and talents. The music industry comes with a lot of potholes and artist need the proper guidance to succeed.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
No man is a island nor do i stand alone. As a independent artist i learn to surround myself with a team that understand the daily grind as we are running against a machine (the music industry). Till this day o have charted 4 times on Billboards and 6 times on iTunes so i consider my career blessed and guarded by the Most High. This is the difference when you hear the sounds created by me and the Tribe Life Studios staff. We are not pressured by the industry to compete against other labels, our peers, and radio. We have found our lane which allow to be creative by generating a soulful sound and bars that are undeniable regardless to where you are from. We somehow have found a sound that’s universal and resonate with fans worldwide.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I’m a major college sports fans so definitely catch a game. I live in a college town so we have several rooftop lounges that’s would be on the list. And of course a little studio time to check out some of our new sounds that we are working on. There would also be some video recording for my podcast that they could end up on.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
Definitely, shout out to my wife Kambrea for understanding that the process of success is not overnight as we are finally seeing the fruits of our labor. Big shout to my camp the Neighborhood Watch Worldwide and the Tribe Life Assassin’s. MULTiMiLCUZiMULTiTASK, Roniel, Peter Sparker, Que, Angel Mecole. Carl McIntosh of Loose Ends.
