We had the good fortune of connecting with Tramika Pugh and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Tramika, as a parent, what do you feel is the most meaningful thing you’ve done for them?
The most important thing that I’ve done in terms of having an huge impact of my children is simply getting up every day and working hard for all the things that I wanted to achieve in life and being dedicated to my craft. Never given up even on my bad days just to show them that you have to keep pushing forward no matter the obstacles.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
For as far back as I can remember I’ve always enjoyed putting things together from start to finish. Whether it was furniture or anything else around the house. So getting into the yard card business was definitely something that felt very familiar to me! The only difference was I get to let the world see what I’m capable of creating! I’m far from perfect but I think my family and friends would agree with me when I say that I’m a extreme perfectionist when it comes to my business/life. My model when it comes to my brand it’s as simply treat people the way you would like to be treated. I know for me when I’m supporting any kind of business I expect to be treated with appreciation. Because let’s face it people have several options they can choose from these days. So my goal is to not just rent you a yard card, it’s to help you have such a memorable experience that you want to come back or referring friend to enjoy the experience of feeling appreciated!

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
The Georgia aquarium and the world of Coca-Cola would definitely be at the top of my list of things to do! Top golf would also make the list the scenery is very nice and most importantly it’s super fun! For food and drink we would have to visit Ray’s in the city. The food is very consistent and delicious and the scenery is very nice as well!

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
First and foremost I have to give major credit to my husband (Reuben). After being laid off during covid 19 I was on an aggressive search to find something that I can do that was creative and would also bring joy to others lives. One of my neighbors got a yard card from a different company and my husband suggested that I start my own business. I thought it was an awesome idea and it would fit me perfectly so from that day I took off with the idea and never looked back. My passion for what I do keeps me going but I would also love to give recognition to my two sisters Shamika & Tamika and best friend Shatun. These three wonderful ladies have always been so supportive throughout my journey. Whether it’s sharing a post or simply giving me encouraging words to keep going.
