We had the good fortune of connecting with Tr3Time and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Tr3Time, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
Since a kid I’ve always been a leader at heart and one of the keys to being a boss of anything is processing great leadership skills. It was destined for me to be my own boss and create my own brand which will one day become a house whole name. It was originally a small thought but nevertheless a big feeling I felt of just wanting to win; back in college where I was juggling playing collegiate basketball, my school studies, wanting to make a name in the entertainment industry and just the pressures of being a young black man in America. I then created “Wealth Is Necessary” acronym being “W.I.N”.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
Im mostly proud of the resilience Ive shown through the toughest of times. I pride myself on my work ethic and ambitious mindset and no matter what, those are some things that will never be of question. I still got a long journey ahead of me and I’m definitely in it for longevity rather than the quick moment of fame but to get to where I am today it took a lot of courage, discipline, humbleness, consistency, persistence, dependability, vision, self encouragement, and just the will to win. By far the road I’m on isn’t easy at all but i’m up for the challenge and to get through the tough times I like to gather my thoughts alone and remember my “why”; why I started this journey and why I know I’m capable to make it all happen. Though I’m still early in my career, I’ve learned plenty of lessons some being bigger than others just to name a few, I learned the lesson of “nobody owes you anything and nothing is guaranteed” the lesson of “Stay true to you and don’t fall victim to the hype and remember, to most this is business not a friendship”. When its all said and done I want the world to hold the work ethic that I possess at a standard where everyone should work at, know that everything that I do is genuine and with good intentions and the brand ” wealth is necessary” is a way of life. Picture it as your health, if health is wealth then wealth is necessary.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
To all of my out of towner friends , I would give them a full disclaimer that 1. I don’t sleep much and 2. if it’s a male, we’re definitely hitting the gym to get a good workout in. I like to consider myself a foodie so we’re definitely going to eat good. Just to name a few of my favorite spots to eat at are “grind house killer burger,” ” the silver skillet”, “Gio’s Chicken Amalfitano” but that’s just to name a few. Music is life so we’ll definitely listen to music ALOT and of course I have to show you how it’s done and do something work related whether that’s a studio session, an appearance, a photoshoot etc. Outside of music and food, I would just want to provide a dope experience for my friend and allow them to be stress free and just have a good time”.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I want to send a special shout out to Ferrari Simmons, Justin Hatney, TwoThree Management, the Heymakers, Jeezy, the Agency 99 team, Cee “King Cope” Copeland, my entire family, the W.I.N Ent. Team: Christian, Tango, Major, and Kos. Shout out to everybody who’s been rocking with me and most importantly shout out to the Man above.
