We had the good fortune of connecting with Toya Harze and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Toya, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
My mindset revolved around the desire to improve the quality of life for my family and the people in my community. Entrepreneurship wasn’t a typical part of my life, but I yearned to pursue something unique that could make a significant difference.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
The Harze Realty specializes in providing amazing customer service and closing deals in a timely and efficient manner. I am a first-generation American, and I embrace and celebrate the diverse cultures that weave through our city. My journey has been about more than transactions; it’s been about uniting people with their dreams in Atlanta’s vibrant city. Where I stand in my business today was not easy to get to. Mentorship and building a community are extremely important to help overcome the challenges you will face.

When working with me as your agent, I love to educate my clients on the process. Education, transparency, and professionalism are what create an unforgettable experience. Real estate can be a life-changing investment when the right people are in your corner. The biggest advice I will give to someone who is looking to purchase a home is that your first home is never your last. Use your first home to buy your next home and start your portfolio.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
The best places to catch a vibe in Atlanta is MCK, BQE, Moustache and fade and facet. I am more of an activity girl I love to attend a good NBA, NFL, MLB game. Go to the skintmacy bar, sip and paint, an aerial class, or even Picassos splat room. Atlanta will keep you busy

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I want to give a big shoutout to my Mom! Transitioning into entrepreneurship wasn’t always smooth sailing, but my mom stood by me, offering her unwavering support whenever I needed it.
