Meet Tori Davis | Executive Producer

We had the good fortune of connecting with Tori Davis and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Tori, why did you decide to pursue a creative path?
Creating has always been in me. As a kid, I was the one putting on plays, singing, dancing, cracking jokes and anything to make people feel something. I’ve had ADHD all my life, and while that made some things tough, creativity was the one thing that locked me in. It gave me focus, freedom, and joy all at once. I fell in love with musicals, acting, the drama, the emotion. Everything about performance lit me up. Musicals, acting, storytelling—they all gave me a way to express myself when words didn’t always come easy. And over time, that love grew into something deeper.
But life hit. After college, I went back home where I grew up in New York, and let’s be real—NY is expensive. I had to survive. So I pressed pause on the dream and went into insurance. I became a licensed underwriter and made good money—like real money. On paper, I was successful. But inside? I was disconnected, uninspired, and honestly, depressed. I did that for 5 years until I got fired. And I say that with gratitude now, because that door closing finally pushed me into my purpose.
I jumped into unscripted TV with almost no money, starting from the very bottom as a PA. But I was alive again. I was happy again. I came out of that depression cloud and felt like myself. Working my way up to AD and producer was a blessing & another form of creating that God placed in my path. It honestly felt like a natural evolution.
Fast forward to, I moved to Atlanta where I picked up gigs as a Producer and now that I have shared my talents to help other Companies, I’ve now decided to grow my own production company by finally creating my own content and Executive Producing stories I’m passionate about. I’m still figuring out exactly how the creator shaping my journey, but I know I’m on the right one.
So yeah… creating doesn’t just make me fulfilled. It keeps me sane. God doesn’t call the qualified. He qualifies the called.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
I didn’t stumble into this industry—I fought my way into it with faith, grit, and a deep need to create stories that matter. I’ve always been a storyteller at heart. Whether I’m writing, producing, or building something from scratch, my art lives at the intersection of authenticity and impact. I’m not here to just make noise—I’m here to say something that sticks.
My work is rooted in realness. I tell stories that feel like us—raw, layered, funny, painful, redemptive, and always human. Whether it’s my show You Hauled or something new in development, what sets me apart is the heart behind it. I create to connect—to give people something to feel, relate to, and maybe even heal from.
I’m proud that I didn’t give up—even when I was broke, uncertain, and low. I’ve gotten in my own way plenty of times, but I kept showing up. That persistence led me to launch my production company alongside two incredibly talented partners, and to create You Hauled, which in one month pulled in 20k views and 7k subscribers—just from a sizzle. That response reminded me how powerful it is to speak success over your life. Words matter. Vision matters. Hustle matters.
One thing I’ve learned: every good story needs a strong point of view. That’s the heartbeat. Without it, you’re just adding to the noise. A solid POV brings clarity, conviction, and truth—three things the world needs more of.
This industry is not easy. Breaking in is hard, and leveling up is harder. It takes long nights, missed sleep, constant sacrifice, and a hustler’s spirit to keep going. Time management is crucial—if you don’t master it, you’ll drown in the grind. But if you’re led by purpose, it’s worth it.
I created Jaides Entertainment to be a home for bold, unapologetic storytelling. We create with heart, with faith, and with the belief that real stories—told honestly—can shift culture. And this is just the beginning.
What I want the world to know is—I’m not just a producer, I’m a purpose-driven creative who’s walked through fire with faith. Everything I create, I create with intention. My story is still unfolding, but if it inspires anyone to bet on themselves, keep their faith, and lead with heart, then I’m doing exactly what I was called to do.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Oh this question is my speed.
Day 1 –
We’re starting soft. Pick them up, head to Ponce City Market to walk the BeltLine, grab something light at Bellina Alimentari, and people-watch. Sunset rooftop drinks at 9 Mile Station—get that skyline glow.
Day 2 –
Brunch at Breakfast at Barney’s (yes, we’ll wait in line—it’s worth it). Then off to explore High Museum of Art, maybe even catch an exhibit at SCAD FASH. Dinner at Twisted Soul Cookhouse & Pours—Black-owned and bomb. End the night at Parlor, a low-key sexy lounge with good drinks and grown-folk energy.
Day 3 –
Brunch at Gocha’s Breakfast Bar—my personal fave, period. Then head over to the Trap Music Museum to tap into ATL’s culture and creativity. Afterward, we’re hitting a hookah spot that brings the whole vibe—good food, chill energy, and that unwind-and-catch-up kind of atmosphere. (Something like CRU Lounge or Encore Hookah Bar depending on the mood.)
Day 4 –
Spa day at Jeju Sauna or Treat Your Feet, Dinner at Slutty Vegan, then close out the night with live music at Northern Tavern or turn it all the way up at Truth Lounge, one of ATL’s go-to gay spots with an unapologetic vibe.
Day 5 – Full ATL Energy
Brunch at Milk & Honey, then a little shopping at Little Five Points or The Village Market to support local Black-owned brands. End the night with dancing at Suite Lounge or Rock Steady ATL.
Day 6 –
Do a self-guided Black Hollywood tour—check out Tyler Perry Studios gates, then ride past some famous filming locations. then the strip club, either Magic City or Blue flame.
Day 7 –
Start the day at Dream Center Church to get poured into and aligned. After church, we’re heading back home for some much-needed rest and reflection. Then we’re wrapping the trip with a nice, chill dinner at Blu Seafood House—perfect ambiance, bomb food.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
Absolutely! Ashley McFarlin. Ashley is not only a powerhouse in the entertainment industry, but she’s also one of the most grounded, faith-filled women I’ve had the honor of walking this journey with. We met in New York about seven years ago while working on a show—she was the Co-EP, and I was the Supervising Producer. Since then, we’ve crossed paths on several projects, but what really bonded us was our shared love for God.
During the pandemic, Ashley started a weekly Zoom Bible study that brought people together from all walks of life. For two hours a week, she poured into others, creating a space for healing, growth, and spiritual alignment. That’s who she is, always leading with love and purpose.
She’s been a true mentor, friend, and encourager in my life—generous with her wisdom, real about the challenges, and someone who fully accepts me, flaws and all. Ashley is the President of Birds Eye Entertainment here in Atlanta, she’s written a powerful book called The Truth Wrapped in Love, and she hosts an inspiring YouTube podcast called Where’s My Pulpit?
She’s a successful entrepreneur, a visionary producer with over 20 years in television, and most importantly, a faithful steward of the gifts God gave her. I’m beyond grateful for her presence in my life—she’s the real deal. https://ashleymcfarlin.com/
