Hi Tonya, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
I had a mission! 2 years ago I was diagnosed with Invasive Carcinoma a form of breast Cancer through the process of chemotherapy and treatment I lose my hair, my body went through a major change from how I ate to being more intentional about my health! God gave me grace! God gave me a second chance! Making my mission stronger I wanted to tell my story so through my intentional actions to a healthier me I did my homework when it came to growing my hair back the natural way after chemo! From there Essence of Nubiance was birth through my pain, my process an my perseverance throughout it all!

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
What sets me apart is my ability to work well under pressure while also maintaining a positive attitude! What I’m most excited about is getting my story out there to educate an inform my family as well as community healthier ways of living! I excited about my testimony of Gods love grace an mercy this time last year I didn’t know if I would make it but God saw me through I’m excited to tell how sweet God really is! It’s wasn’t easy I threw in the towel a couple time before I was able to regain my strength Chemotherapy tooked me down I got so sick with no relief I asked God to kill me but he didn’t he showed me love surround me with a team an have me the strategy to over come an for that I’m just excited for life.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
It’s a week long trip with my best friends My Brother and Sister they know me best an we have the same taste! We would fly together somewhere hot an breezy with a beautiful view of the ocean! .snorkeling

My prayer partner this women has been here with me from the being she was the first person I called when I was diagnosed the phone went silent then we both cried but she never gave up on my her Prayers and support carried me through with the Help of the Lord! Tina Morgan is the CEO of a non profit organization Diamonds N The Rough Women’s Outreach INC. as one of the employees there I was able to receive services when I was going to my healing process the heart an servitude Tieene Morgan has four people is amazing. She helps underprivileged women and children regain their social status by giving out food financial services and helping with mental health and counseling services, many services that our community benefits from Im proud to have Tina in my life!
